Playing Videos
Hey bros,
I just got a new dell, 4600, I would like to know if there is any way that you can increase the speed of buffering. for some reason, it take like 5 minutes in order to watch a 10 second video...
for example I was in the AR lounge and trying to watch that fights video, but it took a long time, and it only ran in chucks at a time..
any input would be great

Dial up is definitely your problem. Vids will generally only start playing when you have enough downloaded to play the whole video, or at least most of it, without an interruption from start to finish, although this is not always the case. With dial up, it will take much longer to get the video downloaded. Also, as far as direct x and vid card drivers, a lot of the time manufacturers don't have the latest drivers installed. I just set up a brand new dell the other day that had 14 security updates that still needed to be installed.

Yes, dial up is definitely the problem. When you switch to cable, you'll see a HUGE difference.

so when you switch to cable, you will have that bill (29) and then an aol or ISP bill?? also can this be installed by your self, or should you have someone else do it
