darn read it too late, today was my leg workout. So its 4-5 sets of leg extensions with curls at high reps then 5 reps of squats. What about calves?

yup 20 reps for squats though...
Personally I believe that saying "big squats equal big calves"... but you can throw some calves in there if u want

Use it for about 4-6 weeks, (that's one leg workout per week, or every 6th or 7th day) then see how much your "regular" leg work has improved.

You can utilize it longer though, I do.

After reading this thread last week I decided to try this leg workout.

Let me tell you....it sucked. I didn't feel a thing. That might be b/c my legs gave out and I fell and hit my head?!

Actually I only made it through about half of my workout. I could barely stand and felt like I was gonna puke. So I went home and felt sorry for myself.

So now I too can say, I hate Swolecat!! haha

BTW - I tried the bicep workout too, they were toast by the end. It's amamzing how much more work you can do if you check your ego at the door.

    Thanks Swole, you da man!

It's totally awsome when you can switch it up like this and yes leave your ego at the door! easy to understand why Swole's clients are so succesful!

Hey swole, can I use this routine for all upper body.. aka I am just coming back really really light due to elbows but I am starting to train again, so I was thinking about blasting 20 reps for everything, what do you think?

He mentionned in his training reminder, that the upper body should get 6-8 reps per sets and lower body should get 15-20 reps per sets. Deadlifts can be any of the two. Tempo is always 3 seconds negative / 2 positive (Except for deadlifts where you do 2 / 2 ).

I'm looking forward for more workouts like that. I wonder what would be the core movement for the Shoulders? Military Presses are in there for sure, but what else? Also back, I wonder what he would suggest.

Eat well, keep the bodyfat in check while you do eat well though, and keep utilizing the practices set forth, and you'll see more change than 100 pennies in my pocket.

Might need to up the weight a little to get it to "hurt so good". I usually squat 300-315 for reps. I dropped to 225 and got 1x20, 1x14, then dropped to 205x15. Then got 2x20 leg presses with 360 (usually work 800lbs for reps).

My legs we smoked after just these 5 sets. I'm going to work up to the full workout, can't wait!!

As far as people paying, I've more than enough clients who are willing to do that for a comprehensive fitness package that includes far more than just a leg workout. You can never charge for everything bro, that takes care of itself, and when you help out freely and use the goodness of your heart to help others progress, what you reap comes back tenfold.

    Trust me, it does.

If you read my thread you'll notice that it says I am coming back slowly. I can not use heavy weights do to an injury so I am incorporating higher reps to blast the muscles with lower weight! Makes sense eh!

For shoulders military with bar or dumbell is core, and also upright rows is one of my favourite.. For back theres nothing like bent over rows or pull ups with proper form

I worked out with at couple new training partners this past week and on leg day they were hating on the routine before we started it. "Man I always squat first and finish with leg extensions but whatever I will try something new but probably add in Hack Squats and lunges at the end." Well needless to say they never made it to Hack Squats or Lunges let alone finishing the 5 sets of Squats. Our leg day was on Thursday and just last night they were still complaining because their legs were sore. It felt good making believers out of close minded individuals.

If I've said it once, I'll say it again. All one has to do is look at Swole and know he knows his shit. Anyone who doubts him, makes me chuckle. Then all one has to do is do a search on his name and look at his advise. You don't get to look like that or end up being interviewed in magazines without years knowledge, determination, and busting your ass!!!

    THUMBS UP BRO!!!!!!
