ok....so i bought a purebred English Bulldog of the internet the other day and it was from the Toronto newspaper, and he was located in Cameroon...He supposedly left there yesterday and is now in France...when i woke up this morning there was an e-mail from the guy saying that the pet transporter lost the papers for him to fly to Canada, and he is being delayed till the guy gives them another copy of the papers....

So i am a little concerned i got screwed...now i only sent him 300 dollars to cover the travel cost, so i am not out a huge amount...in fact i dont care about the money, i just really wanted the dog....what is your opinion...I sent him an email asking for an update like 3 hours ago and also to the transport company, and i have no heard anything yet....am i screwed????

I dont know. I usually get my fedex stuff in the afternoon..

Been good. Had to miss a few days of lifting. We gave my niece a graduation party. Felt good to get back..Funny how when you work out 5x a week going a few days without it seems really weird.

yeah i was thinking the same thing...the guy went through a lot of trouble to scam me for 300 bucks...like there story so far is that when he got to france and was ready to come to canada, they looked for the vetr papers that said he is ok to fly and they had ripped off the crate...come on, tell me i need to pay some sort of french tax or something...that almost makes me think there is still hope...but i just checked email again and still nothing so i dunno...live and learn....

if you got any ideas please let me know....he just seemed so legit to...like referencees, other companies emailed me with info on caring for him and the transport and everything...but if it seems to good to be true, it usually is....

western union....he didnt even ask for a certain amount...i just is 300 ok, and he said it is fine....I asked him to wait for a bit till i was done thecomp and i would pay it all then and he said i could give him the rest then but he wanted me to have him asap, so he would cover the rest till i paid him....he said he would send him out even if i didnt get a chance to get to the bank till monday....i dunno...i just doesnt add up....i am not a pro scammer or a scammer at all so i dont know how it works but....

I know there is no way...he has prolly changed his acct and is using another name now...cant really report him...i might check western union and see if he even picked up my money yet...

You have to go into any situation like they are going to scam you. Guilty until proven innocent.

i really did though...but he did everything short of sending me the dog first and me payin him after...and he offered to do that...i guess i just didnt know how to protect myself better..i was thinking of using a different money transfer like paypal where you can hold the money till ya get your parcel or whatever then it is realesed...

did you get all his info from a website or something?? yeah check on the western union. if he hasn't picked up the money call to cancel it.
