My ex's old roommate tried to poison the cat. The cat was sick for a day, and then went on his merry way. After my GF found out that her roommate had poisoned (at the time she had two cats) her cats, she kicked her roommate out.

It sounded more like a grunting noise. Although it may have been getting stuck under the couch. (It's 30lbs, and doesn't fit under the couch well)

The cat's fine. It's not hurt. It was more shocked than anything. I figure I scared the crap out of the cat.

It was at the vet recently (after being shot) and the vet never said anything about it. The cat is diabetic, and has someother small medical problems associated with being so obese.

It's so fat that it doesn't fit in it's litter box. So it sticks it's head in the litter box, and poops on the floor. It's a 50-50 shot that the poop will go into litter box.

Sounds like you need a lid-less litterbox. Also usually with diabetic cats/dogs... the first thing the vet suggests (like people) is to have the animal lose weight... it allows the animal to be more predictable and the owner give the right dose of insulin w/o having highs and lows all the time. They have special "diabetic food and treats" that help with this they sell at the vet's office.

Your girl should really look into this. We had a diabetic golden retriever... it's a long, hard road.

I think you should just leave before you kill her cat. You may be surprised how much she likes it. Pets become like family and if she ever found out you killed it, you may lose your member or worse your own life. Once you start killing pets its like sleeping with married people. You may justify it in your own mind, but it might wind up getting you hurt. You even said she calls it her baby, right? If you think I am kidding just take the cat to a freinds house and then tell your girlfriend you killed the cat. I bet you will be surprised how mad she gets. It would not surprise me if she left you even after she finds out you were kidding. It depends on her, but many people love their pets.

Well, I'm loosing myself control. My girlfriends cat is driving me up the wall.
Yesterday I shot it in the face, and don't know what I'll do next to it.

I was getting ready to play airsoft. Getting my gear on, and filling up my propane
cartridges. I just finished loading some ammo (plastic bbs) into a springer pistol.
Out of nowhere, the cat jumps up and scratches my arm. It then starts hissing at me
for no reason. As it does this, it knocked the bag of bbs out of my hand, and all over the
floor. 1500 bbs scatter all over the living room. So, I take the freshly loaded springer gun,
and fire at the cat. I hit the thing in the ass from about 15 feet. It goes and starts scrating
on my stereo speaker now, because it knows that pisses me off. So I fire again at the cat,
and hit it right in the face. The cat falls over, and runs under the couch. Then I can hear the
cat crying. I do not feel bad about doing it, that cat deserves it, and so much more.

Its a stupid little beast. I've tried convincing my girlfirend to get rid of it, and she wouldn't.
I'm allergic to it, plus it is mean and smelly too. It's constantly ripping up toilet paper, and spreading
it around the appartment.

I can't convince my girlfriend to get rid of it. She keeps saying "If you love me, you wouldn't ask
for me to get rid of my baby." The cat is eight years old, severly over weight (30lbs), smelly, stupid,
and mean. No matter what I say, she will not budge. It's at the point now, where I am ready to
deal with the cat by myself.

So, should I take it to a vet, and have it put down? Give to the Pet Adoption Center or what?
What should I tell my girlfriend "Sorry, but I shot your cat" ?
