The way i see it, SOME of the old mods just got a taste of their own medicine! How many people on this site have given good advice but get banned because the mod had a power trip? There wasn't shit you could do about it either. I know someone who was on here for bout 3+ years and helped out quite a bit. He got banned for some bullshit and all his efforts and help went right down the tube. Completely unjustified!! I would imagine there are many more just like him!

No, it doesnt start all over. You have been around and have shown.... we will get into who is deserving and stuff like that another time. We have some more things to smooth over before we can start hanging pictures on the walls and adding flowers to the room.. we still have furniture to move in. (if you get my point)

The admin are fine and it doesnt take a brain surgeon to click on "view all posts" in your profile to see the kind of imformation and commitment you have given to AR. It is also not hard to see how well you handle yourself to other members and other members who dont agree with you.

We have mods who got their powers taken away that didnt make but 2-4 posts in PRIVATE about their concerns. It was done with respect and it was done with maturity. The leaders of AR from this day forward will be looked at with there maturity levels as the number one factor. It starts from the top and that is something that is not a new concept. No more power trips will take place at AR unless it is me doing it.. and that is few and far between.

i def like your thoughts on this new idea as it seems like you are trying to improve recognition. but heres my one question about it. i know your not on here everyday and your new admins are supposedly new to the board. so who is there to give out this recognition? does the reputation start over this week and has to be built up again because its like the upper guys dont know the difference between the guy with 100 posts, the guy with 1000 posts that have been very helpful and the guy with 6000 lounge posts.??

I don't think it's that the position is viewed at as a sell out or snick persay because of the position - it's because of the attitudes of some of those in the position - newly appointed.

This is not about popularity, i understand that - but it's also not about abusing a perceived power and treatly ppl just plain badly.

Just let it go man. Everyone is so worked up about this. Yes is sucks that some of these people are leaving but there's nothing we can say or do to make them come back, its up to them. We should all be here to help eachother and learn from eachother. There are plenty of people on this board that can still answer questions, bottom line.
