Possiblity of repercussions
Anyone nervous about looking at this site while at work? I work for a city government and would never look at this site while at work. Just wondering, if I were to look at this site during work and were so called "caught", what do you think would happen?

Check your companies It policy.
Some work places do not allow you to use the net for personal purposes during work times and it is grounds for dismissal. (If they want to be asses)

When yuo join a copy they usualy get you to sign a paper.
I realize most ppl surf the net on company time, but fact remains it can be an easy reason for dismissal without any more proof.
IT can track wherever you go and whatever you look at - if you give someone reason to look into it.

True. Most companies have a tracking program, or atleast remote desktop available to them.
Although I can't see more than a slap on the wrist for most jobs.
