I must say...reading all these posts have really helped me get over the age thing. I'm not really pondering about it any longer.....I have come to the conclusion its not an age issue with him...its a level of confidence he's lacking.

ya you need to get out of the prairies, lol. find a nice city boy from toronto. don't sweat it, this guy thinking ur too old for him does not make u old. most girls for example tht are over 25 or so will say i'm too young (i'm 20). tht doesnt mean im a baby by any means, its just one persons preference.

i think it hard dating a 20 yr old - because in some instances the differences in itnerests is big - i've dated 23... a few 20 yr olds have lied.. but usually it's only 5 yrs younger

I've personally found the maturity level from one province to another very different. I think it's the socio-economic factors involved. Alberta being a more blue collar; the men are less mature than say...Toronto.

oh for sure there are often differences in maturity and interests. thts just the point im making, i dont take it personally if it happens (if someone thinks im too young) and i dont think pink should either cause ppl's decisions are often based on a previous bad experience, just like yours w/ 20 year olds.

I havn't read everyone else's responses so sorry if this is repeat...but Sounds like an excuse to me. Whatever the reason he's not interested ... i doubt it's the age. ANd if by some chance it is the age...good riddance ya know? 8 years isn't squat in the big picture. Just my 2 cents...
