My Post Deleted!!???

It's a sad day when in the maintenance of forum order a Mod has to justify a routine action...

I deleted the post... posts rather.. Yours and others that came after yours.

Why?

You bumped an old thread.. in the new member welcome forum to boot.

When someone bumps an old welcome thread i always delete the post.. and lock the thread to prevent it being re-bumped.

Why?

I'd assume the logic was clear.. But seeing it isn't: I lock the old thread so it isn't at the top of the forum showing up on the 'new posts' search where it would be taking the place of an actual new thread.

Go to page 5 and work your way back to the oldest threads in the forum
