I must say thank you guys for all the positive comments. Me and Carlos had fun doing that show, I dont know about Carlos but I know I'll do that show again next year, except this time it will be a different story becuase I wont be burnt out I'll be hungry. Then I'll do the Nationals the very next Week. That will be my schedule from now on. I'll do only those 2 shows per year becuase they are 1 weeks apart. That will give me enought time to fully recover and grow each year.

carlos, your quads look by far the best IMO.

Art.. going by the pics i had you in 3rd/4th.. I'm thinking the judges had it a lil difficult. Aesthetics... v.s. condition... Aesthetics v.s. condition. In the end i think condition was the order for the class. You admitted that it was for fun... so it's no biggie You should be able to come back next year and piss on anyone that comes lol. Then onto Nationals to get what's yours. (Remember to send me my autographed t-shirt when you turn pro )

If i may..One critique.. based on this v.s. the other shows.

The fuller Art ..is the better competitor.

Honestly... you look times better fuller.

I'd like to see the uber-shredded Art (like the avvie)... come in sickeningly full

I was watching your prep on your last show. When you started i was like "oh fuck that guy looks crazy!". I think you overdid the cardio and/or went too depletive calorie-wise. Either is unsuitable for your meso-type/metabolism imo. There are light-heavies here , and conversely a couple light-weight/middle weight competitors that come in full, but with shredded glutes without cardio. Their body-types aren't dissimilar to your own.

    It's pretty depressing actually.

A guy here won light-weight (nationally and regionally)...looking like a frigging middleweight...namely because he lowered his protein intake tru-out the prep to make the weight. No cardio tru-out, No carb cycling... just High-intensity training and posing. I was in middle-weight and he made me look small

Anyway.. i've digressed. The point i'm trying to make is that i think you need to re-assess Art with regard to your assualt on Nationals next year.

Cus i mean.. at the start of your prep you for the previous show you were more or less shredded due to your really fast metabolism. Then at the end... you were ripped, but so much smaller than i thought you would've ended given the size (muscularly) and bodyfat percentage you started at. I thought you would've kept more.

Man.. honestly your physique is almost PERFECT!

So needless to say i was saddened not to see you dominate and come back with a pro card on the last outing

Hope you don't take offense at the critique. I honestly respect you as a competitor..and would like to see you on a pro-stage bringing aesthetics back to the sport

Mr. Ment, congratulations on the show. Just from the pictures, it's hard to believe the guy next to you has roughly 25 lbs. on you. Your legs look just as big if not bigger in some of the poses, but pictures can be deceiving. Anyhow, both you and Carlos are to be commended on a job well done. It's very motivating and encouraging to see real bodybuilding results from guys like you, Carlos, Nark, I**mfkr, etc.

Arthur, you're only going to do Eastern and Nationals from now on? Victor wants me to do a Junior USAs or Junior nationals. I'll do Eastern again next year just because it's fun and one week out from Nationals.

Yes, thats why I'm only doing those two shows from now on, it will give me time to rest and time to grow, doing too many shows results in too much time dieting and not enough growing time.
