Looking to move soon, need some advice from all of you!
I'm tired of Chicago. I need a change, and I'm looking for places to move, preferably with better scenery and a more relaxed pace.
My thoughts so far are
Colorado
Vancouver, Canada
South Carolina
Somewhere in the mid-atlantic states (Connecticut, New Hampshire, etc)
Im looking for either skiing and mountains or near the ocean. I like lots of scenery, slower paced lifestyle, places where $$ isn't everything, good housing market, and most of all, nice people!
Any suggestions would be appreciated guys and girls! Let me know you like your city or how you like the ones above!

I go to school in South Carolina on the coast and I love it here. Today I wore t-shirt and shorts and was hot. If there would be a problem living here, it would have to be that it is expensive. But I also live downtown. If you could find a place on the surrounding islands it isn't nearly as bad. Let me know if you wanna know anything else!

FYI: The state of Arizona has the cheapest cost of living in the nation. But most likely some of the worst paying jobs due to that.

Chicago is a great city, but their is SO much corruption due to the welfare state the inner city has created. I want out.
Good so far, keep em coming all!

You're always welcome here in the state of Texas. I live in Far North Dallas and it's an extremely rapid growing area. Very nice as well. With you being a loan officer, that would fit your niche quite nicely.
Check out some homes in towns such as Frisco, Prosper, McKinney, and Allen. The price per square foot is extremely attractive right now due to it being a buyers market in Far North Dallas.

anyway, you can ski in hawaii now, but the night life there is really slow..
cali would be the best for you given what you are telling me.. live on the outskirts, and instead of home mortgage do capital leasing, that's one of the other services we will be offering..
there's lots of ways to not get caught up in the madness of traffic...
if skiing is the #1 you can't beat Colorado, but... beware.. alot of military, alot of espanol, and alot of students north of denver..
good luck..The answer to your every question
