It looks like Eddie Brock is comming back to play venom. I don't know where that will put gargan perhaps back to his old scorpion suit, although there is a new chick in WWh with the name scorpion so I dunno

marvel has just been dropping bombs the last 2 years. The house of M, Civil war, Spidermans tragedies, The Initiative, Caps death and so on. I read that there is supposed to be another event in the future that will be bigger than all of these only not as many comics or characters will be involved

Yeah, I read that. I'm getting the lastest Marvel Zombie mini. They're funny as hell. Didn't know it was him.

It wouldn't surprise me. Marvel has done so many screwed up things lately. I wouldn't put it passed them.

At this point I say "whatever" I really hate the direction their going. It's why I've been reading other publishers more and more.

No one more pissed than me. That's not Frank Castle one bit. MAX Punisher and Punisher War Journal are just two completely different characters.

Does anyone else think Daniel Way is a poor mans Garth Ennis? I've gone off his Origins run and the Punisher v Bullseye mini series sucked all though im quite enjoying his Ghost Rider run.

That's why I pretty much stick to just one or two titles these days. The only thing I can think of to match all of that would be to kill off another huge major character like Wolverine. But dead is never dead in the Marvel universe. Galactus came back. Collosus came back. Cap will be back at some point.

The only thing that could top all of those events would be the end of superheroes altogether (maybe the death of spiderman or spiderman turning evil could be a bigger shock) but it's true people will return. Galactus, Collosus, Scarlet witch, Hawkeye, Captain Mar-vel(although he was dead for a very long time) but my guess is cap will be back sooner or later with all these clones, Cyborgs and imposters runnign around not to mention magic so well see.

I picked up JLA. It was a lttle confusing. Since it's called the lighting saga I guess it has to do with Lighting Lad/Lash? What is the JSA first cross over issue?

What's up Carlos? long time no talk. What's comming off the rack these days?
World War Hulk is looking pretty good
X-men Endangered Species looks like it could be very good as well.
Lightning Saga is over and the return of Wally West is cool
The new Fantastic four is panning out decently I remember this thread being started b/c of that
Reading anything intresting or new these days?

I'm pretty much reading every thing you listed. I did not like the lightning saga. It was a let down for me. A lot of build up just to bring the flash back. I was hoping for something bigger.

Yea the whole flash thing was a little weak but I think Countdown is going to be an even bigger let down compared to 52. Not sure if you read JSA at all but they were getting warmed up with the whole 4th reich idea but got off track with the Saga I hope they go back to that story.

Some of the tie ins for WWH look to be a decent addition to the main book.
I'm just interested what's going to happen after the Inititive and WWH are over with. We already lost Cap, the F4 split Spiderman is off the deep end and so on. The past 3 or 4 years has totally changed the Marvel Universe more than the previous 35 years so who knows. All I know is that there is a third part to the whole Hulk run the first was Planet Hulk now WWH and nothing has been released too much about the thrid part of his Saga

I hope they find scarlet witch and make the bitch flip everything back the way it was before. I really hate the initiative. I hate iron man. I hate the direction marvel is going. More and more I'm buying none marvel titles because I'm losing interest in where they are going. Hopefully in endangered species they get all of the mutants back.

I agree I came up with a theory how Marvel and Dc always have similar events and characters and such I wonder if Scarlet Witch Comes back and either brings certain characters back or unlocks other universes and brings captain America from Earth 2 or something along those lines. I dunno but we know shes back and shes gonna have to play a role somewhere

I liked annihilation much better than the stupid war. It would have made a better story if they tied in all of earths heroes and forgot about this stupid hero war and initiative.

I really like the New Avengers. I like what they did with Hawkeye. I probably like the title because it's not tied in with the initiative.

I agree the war was overrated and had too many tie ins. planet Hulk and Annihilation was way better I would of liked to see a Annihilation Saga with all of earth's heroes and even the Villiains having to team up to stop it

Yup I'm glad he didn't take caps role, but in WWH Stark says that all unregistered heroes that help with get pardoned or what not so after the War we may see the New Avengers shift to something else

What do you think of World War Hulk? I'm loving it so far. Annihilation Conquest is OK. I like Annihilation Conquest Starlord. I like his team line up. Funny as hell. I'm not so sure about Quasar.

Hey Carlos good to hear from you man. WWH is pretty much all that I expected it's a soild read (the main story) and from what I hear #4 is going to big the big one. The tie-ins are pretty well written as well. Annihilation is staring slow, but as did the first we get to read the four tie-in books then the real story. Starlord looks great (Rocket Racoon I can't beleive they brought him back) Quasar I'm not sure myself I liked the old Quasar better. Wraith looks like it could be a decent read but He reminds me of LOBO a lot. Nova took an intresting turn real early I hope they resolve that before the main story gets here. You reading Countdown at all? Not as good as 52 IMO, but it's alright. Reading anything else good these days?

Thor has hopes I mean only 2 issues but could be cool. Silver Surfer Requiem is a good read, but I'm confused with the timeline of it all b/c last we saw he was in new Fantastic Four a couple issues back so I don't know. You pick up New warriors or the Order at all? Not sure about either yet I'll keep up with them until it's too drawn out

I'm reading Countdown. I'm waiting for something to happen. Is Pided Piper and the other dude gay? It seems like it.

Rocket Racoon is awesome. I like the Shiar chick and I've always liked Mantis. I like that they think she's crazy. "Celestial Goddess"
I'm liking Thor. I wonder where they are taking it. A quest to find the rest of the Asgardian Gods? Sounds like the Eternals story line.

Silver Surfer Requiem is sad. They better not kill him. He's one of my favorites. Galactus should cure him.

New Warriors is good. Jubilee has always been a favorite.

What do you think of the current X-Men story lines? I'm SOOOOOO tired of Mystique betraying them. It's like the 10th time. New X-Men, this has to be the biggest group of emotionally scarred children. I mean several of them die or are tortured every month. I think they'll all grow up to become the new brotherhood of evil mutants. You can't take that much death, abuse and punishment without developing issues.

I think they'll all grow up to become the new brotherhood of evil mutants. You can't take that much death, abuse and punishment without developing issues.
I hear ya Mystique betraying them is like jean gray rising from the dead. The new X-men is a nice book, but I hope after this Endangered Species Arc and they're tussel with Belasco they can go off and have some adventures old school style. Speaking of which I really am loving the Seperate Beast story at the end of each X-book.
Hey are you reading Sinestro Corps at all it looks good I hope it dosen't burn out after a couple issues.

You still don't read JSA at all do you? I don't remember if you read JLA. Anyway now that the Lightning Saga is over and Flash is back I hope they get on with some good stories the last one was more of a filler if you will.

    Taken From Marvel.com

The Fantastic Four have explored the Negative Zone, faced death and even defeated the mighty Galactus…so what kind of threat could possibly be more than the Fantastic Four can handle? Set in the near future, The Last Fantastic Four Story is all-new epic that will show you a different side of Marvel's First Family and they may not survive the experience! Stan Lee, the icon himself, returns to the Fantastic Four and teams with one of the greatest modern comic book artists, John Romita Jr., to bring you the kind of cosmic action that can only be found in the World's Greatest Comic Magazine! Since their inception, the Fantastic Four have broken new ground for super hero stories, presented a unique view of the super-powered life and now, with the return of one of the original co-creators, the FF are set to redefine just where super heroes can boldly go! And don't adjust your monitors—you're getting 48, that's right, 48 story pages of exciting action in the Mighty Marvel Manner from Lee & Romita Jr!

Editor Tom Brevoort explained, "This is Stan writing his final story for the Fantastic Four, the characters who began the Marvel Age of Comics—so in some ways, this is like Stan's bookend on his entire career at Marvel. Plus, he's working with John Romita Jr. for the first time, an artist who embodies all of the best qualities in terms of storytelling and power as those classic creators who collaborated with Stan back in the glory days, but who is simultaneously an artist of the here and now. So hopefully, this will be a rare treat for readers everywhere."

It's Stan "The Man" Lee, returning to the Fantastic Four and John Romita Jr.'s lush art bringing you a special Fantastic Four tale like no other…so what are you waiting for? Also, don't miss the special poster of John Romita's gorgeous cover to The Last Fantastic Four Story, arriving in stores later this August. The Fantastic Four are nearing the end…but is it the end of their careers or the end of their lives?

I like where Beast is headed. Kinda tempting him into turning into the Dark Beast. How far will he go for a cure.

Yes I'm reading GL, GL Corp and the sinestro cross over. Not sure where they are headed. Sinestro took out Ion WAY too fast. I thought Ion was supposed to be the shit.

I don't read JSA. I love JLA. I thought the Lightning Saga and death of the flash was lame.

Yea Ion was done so fast, but I hope it's not a lot of one on one battles and I hope earth gets involved I mean Superboy prime and superman going at it again would be great.

I'm trying to get into DC more I might pick up the teen titans #50 issues and see how they are. I really like group stories. I usually don't pick up batman or superman solo stories, but I may give them another shot
