How many people believe in psychics?
I was watching that psychic detective show on court tv for the first time and i was astounded. I always assumed it was BS but i guess the way i think about psychic abilities is the same way people use to think about airplanes in the medieval eras of evolution.
So my question is. Has anyone seen a psychic and had them actually predict events in thier life or how many people in general think its real? Just curious.

I went to a guy in greenwich village in manhattan about 12 years ago. was kind of well known. his name was perot. he was around 50 years old, acted kinda strange. he would move his eyes back and forth and then look away, then turn back and look at me and tell me something. told me i wouldnt marry the girl i was there with, who i was very close with at the time. asked me if i liked exotic women, then said i would marry either an asian or maybe hispanic( married a chinese girl) told me that wouldnt work out( right again). he told me i would have my own business and give it up(true) was dead on about my father, also said my stepfather would die suddenly which was true. he didnt make any vague statements like a gypsy at a carnival, it was very difffferent. i actually would like to go back to him but i wouldnt have any idea how to find him.

But the idea alone that certain psychics can hit shit on the head so accurately blows my mind. As fake as I want to think the whole idea is, something about it seems real, and thats CRAZY imo. I may have to do a research project on this next semester or something.

pure and utter bullshit imo. there are many sceptics in the world that has open challanges. If someone can demonstrate supernatural abilities to them they get a million dollars. So far no one has even tried as far as I know. That tells me everything I need to know.
If they where real they would be able to demonstrate the abilities under scientific scrutiny.

I was told I would get more muscular and I would continue to be extremely good looking and my personality would just get better. They were correct on all counts.

Maybe it is a "science", just one we dont quite understand in this stage of human evolution. Who knows what humans are really capable of?

But if any of these psychic people where for real they could go and collect a cool million dollar anyday. They could go to csicop or any other organisation of sceptics that examine paranormal claims and show they are for real.
No psychic has ever been able to do anything at all under scientific scrutiny. After countless amounts of money has been poured into research about the paranormal nothing at all has been found, nada. I have no hope whatsoever that that will be changed. But I hope I am wrong because it would be the most exciting discovery ever.

I believe some psychics are real while others who claim to be psychic are frauds just after easy money. Like someone who claims to be a steroid source and scams you, doesn't mean theres no such thing as steroid sources
Prophesies means To reveal the will or message of God.
Nostradamus who was one of the world's most famous publishers of prophecies, made over one thousand predictions and historians say that over half of them have already come true. He predicted the rise of Napoleon and Adolf Hitler.

i think most "psychics" are full of shit and are just either trying to get attention, money, or both. I do, however, believe that some people do have that gift (or curse, I guess you could say) and it is even mentioned in the Bible. My grandmother was psychic and she was actually employed by the LAPD when she lived in California to help solve crimes because she could "see" it happen in her head and she actually led them to bodies... pretty crazy. She said she had too many nightmares and the things she saw were terrible so she stopped. When I was younger I would hear voices and see things but I was very skeptical so maybe I didn't allow myself to become psyschic.
Recently I tried to "project" myself while I was lying in bed and I actually did it to my surprise. As soon as I left my body into the darkness of my room I was confronted by an evil presence and I couldn't move. I have never been so afraid in my life - it is unexplainable... luckily as the figure was approaching my cell phone rang and I immediately returned to my body, exhausted.
