Had to fire 7 people and myself... Someone kill me.
I guess I asked my question about dieting on the road too quickly. Went into the office this morning big wig called me in the office first tells me what I got to do. Then i have to tell the 7 men that I supervise that we lost our contract with the company we were working for and we are now all officially unemployed. Yay... Now I need to know how to get the right ratio of carbs and protein out of a garbage can. Yay.....
Someone please kill me.

I feel ya bro. Getting ready to start my cycel. Food costs money. I just found out that the security job I was training for just closed the shift I needed. All the time I spent driving an hour every day to the school for a week, not to mention the gas money, and taking the physical and drug testing, filling out all that stupid paper work. I hope it cost them a fvck load of money to train me, those fvcking bastards, now I'm screwed. All that time wasted. I feel like beating the shit out of someone. I was also planning on moving out, and getting my own place. Now I can't, I will never find a job that pays as much as they did. SOMEONE PLEASE SHOOT ME!!!

Sorry for the bad news to start out 2007! As others have said, the key is to drive on. My last place of employment (7 years worth) started going down the tubes and a co-worker and I decided to start our own company. Six years later, life is much better! As the saying goes "Success is the best revenge".

Thanks for all the support bros... Got a good prospect for a new job this afternoon... It pays close to the same doesn't have the perks (company truck, credit cards, etc..) buy hey beggars can't be choosers so to speak.
And to anwer everyone's question to why I told them... It was to get a glowing reference from my field office manager... Which turned out to be the right decision because aparantly these people are going to hire me.
OH I work for a company that errects and maintains transmission towers... (cellular, microwave, radio etc) In other words if you don't like heights... Not the job for you lol.

It is a blessing that I can start concentrating on training more because the job I am in the process of getting doesn't require nearly as much travel. I didn't really need all the money I was making at my last job... I was giving myself an ulcer and high blood pressure with stress. (no serioiusly) Its hard to train when you put in a 12 - 14 hour day on the road in a city where you have no clue where anything is.
