Help in Job computer internet use policy......

I downloaded some files from torrent spy. We received a memo saying that somebody was miss using the internet. They also threat to do something about it. How Can I delete history of me downloading shit of Torrent spy. Or what software can I used to clean my computer of any evidence of shit beind down loaded.

if its on the network it wont matter what you do. i would think they already have your PC's IP address. maybe they sent it out to show you they know and say hey **** head dont do it again.

Clear cookies, history, PW's, recycle bin...etc. They know you're browsing either way. Use a USB flash drive browser to get around firewalls and history trackers.

every page you visit and every thing that gets downloaded gets stored in a log file on the main server (at least thats what I set up at my work). The memo you got was probably just a warning, they will know exactly who did it regardless of what you do to your computer. I would just uninstall bittorrent and not use it at all.

i always wondered about this... how do members get away with viewing this site at work? i don't think my boss would dig it much if i got caught on steroid site. he'd probably assume i'm dosing... even though i haven't, yet...
