The book, " The Shining " , is a great read as well. It is different than the movie but I think a bit better.

I watched a scene from a Nightmare on Elm Street when I was about 9, the scene where Freddy's arms are really long and he's chasing that girl down the alley, that shit me up!!

Other worthy mentions, Bad Taste...its more classic than anything.

NBK and Devils Rejects are pretty ****ed up.

I always mix those two up. Bad taste is the one with the aliens in the village right and bad taste is the one with some kind of fat zombie mother? I have seen the one with the aliens a few more times. Both are sure entertaining. But I wonder what new line cinema was thinking when they gave jackson all that cash to make lord of the rings. Who would have known he had that in him

Yeah Bad Taste is the village invaded by aliens, gotta love the line "Right my friend the astro-bastard, time for talkies!"

Braindead is the zombie one where he goes round swinging a lawnmower about, mashing up zombies at the end.

Yeah, when I heard he was directing Lord of the Rings I was like "What are they thinking?"

Heavenly Creatures was really ****ed up.

And im glad someone mentioned Election cause noone else I know seems to have ever seen that film. Not ****ed up but brilliant all the same.

Just saw The Illusionist last night. Jessica Biel is smokin hot.
I just wonder how different it is from The Prestige with Scarlett Johanesen (also smokin hot)
