We had a chick with chronic bad breath at work...she tried everything to get rid of it...dentist said her teeth and gums were not the problem...turns out it was a early sign of diabetes...
We got another guy who has the same thing and no one wants to tell him

Bad breath does not all was come from you mouth. It could also be from you upper Gi track.

If it's that serious I would go to a doctor because bad breath can also be a sign of medical problems.

Flossing is CRUCIAL! Next time you floss, actually smell the floss and you'll understand. I scrape my tongue and floss every night and it makes a big improvement. However, your case seems to be a little more internal. If you're having gastric attacks that means your body is probably too acidic; I'd look into some simple holistic remedies to make your body more alkaline. Check out www . earth clinic . c o m
Hope this helps!

Bad BREATH not BREATHE. No extra E on the end guys. All of this mispelling is giving me chronic bad breath. I edited your thread title, I just couldnt take it anymore.
Now go get some gum brotha.
Honestly tho, I just brush my teeth like 3-4 times a day. Since I eat so much I think its more important, I have never had a cavity and my dentist says my teeth are great and gums are strong as nails too. Just brush often and use mouth wash after as well. This may be totally idiotic but I also use a lot of lip balm. I find when my lips are dry and I keep lickin them a lot or playin around with them my breath is worse, dont know if its coincidence or not but I always keep chapstick on me and it seems to be better.

Look in to your diet, especially carbs - bad breath in the low/no-carb sect is often caused by certain chemicals that are released in the breath as the body burns fat. They are called ketones, and entering into a fat-burning state of ketosis. So the good news is that if your breath stinks, you're probably doing a good job of sticking to that l"ow-carb" diet.
If you have a metabolic cause of bad breath, there is very little the dentist can do; you have to change your diet, but I bet that's not gonna happen
So...
Drink more water.
Chew sugarless gum.
Suck on sugarless mints. In particular, those that contain Xylitol also kill bacteria and can prevent cavities.
Drink water and swish it around in your mouth after you eat. It moistens the mouth and gets the food particles that may contribute to odor out

You could try eating plain yogurt. Probiotic bacteria in yogurt fights the bad breath causing bacteria

Some people have dry mouths which causes bad breath, one side of my nose is blocked from the last time i broke it and ic ant breath from it so when i sleep i open my mouth to breath without knowing, when i wake up my breath is horrible!! But as soon as i brush my teeth and start the day things are ok because i'm back to breathing from one nostrill. So its only demon-morning-breath.

Get your teeth cleaned, brush more often, and floss. Its rotting food in your mouth that stinks.
