Car was impounded and 30 day hold..

Ah man, I got pulled over and have a suspended license and my car was towed. Luckily, they didn't take me to jail. They want to hold the car for 30 days

That's bull. Then I have to pay like $1800 to get it out. I can't afford that. And then every day it goes up more money.

My question is can I sign the car over to my girl and have her pull the car out without having to wait 30 days?

not likely, they are attempting to keep it out of your hands... do you owe money on the car???

and for long term it usually goes to a cheaper lot.. good luck.. at anyrate, the da would have to release it before you could pick it up from the lot..

Car is paid off. I own it. I got it impounded before with suspended l's in socal and got it out the next day. I had my girl drive though. I got quoted $1800 for 30 days. I am going to tell them I'm in the process of selling it so I can pay off my fines to get my license back and I can't afford that $1800 so it would be a loss for me.

I had mine impounded for driving while suspended . (Mine was a mistake) They told me i can get the car out but i need the registration, insurance card and a valid licence. If i was to have someone else pick it up i had to have something notarized allowing them.
