Poconos

I want to get away with my girl for a weekend. I thought about going to the Poconos./ I know they have some nice resorts. I never been though. Any one have any suggestions. I'm open to other places. But i would like to stay within reasonable driving distance from NYC.

Did you read my post. I want to go someplace for a weekend and drive there. And if I'm flying to Europe I'm not going to Switzerland.

Ya Caesars has 3 places in the Poconos that are really nice and very popular. I think the least inviting of the three is the Paradise Stream one. I'm not real fond of the setting along a busy road and it was flooded very badly about 2 Springs ago and took considerable damage in the process. The other two, I've heard, are outstanding.

or check some last min websites and fly out somewhere for a weekend its like $100-250 a person roundtrip air and hotel..not bad the sites are

It's a moutain/plateau region in Pennsylvania that is a very popular Honey Moon destination for some reason I can't explain. I guess for those who enjoy a rustic setting is can be very romantic for couples????

montreal can be VERY fun...but its still a bit cold isnt it? How about foxwoods, mohegan sun or even the borgata in ATL city

Yea Montreal is a good idea, great city. Also the Hamptons might be an option, ***ends on when you go? If you go now it could be ok, but go later in the season and you will wish you left the girl at home!!! IMO I would go to Montaulk. There is a reallly nice hotel called Gurneys, right on the beach, great food, massage and spa,,,classy place...
