    I didn't make the decission, the board owners did.. one must admit that it really didn't add alot to the credibility of the board..

    plus, on the upside look what it did to the post counts..

    same could be said for MANY threads......I thought thats what the lounge was for....at the top of the lounge page--it says off topic discussion--talk about whatever you want... although the postwhore thread definitley didnt add much AAS knowledge to the board...It kept other areas unclogged for that AAS discussion...

    I could give a fvck less about foskamink ... but deleting the thread was completely unnecessary. A simple lock wouldve done the job.

    A simple lock would not have given them any more bandwidth if that was the reason. it did take up a lot of space that could be used for what this board was created for...KNOWLEDGE !!!

    It would be nice though if reasons were given(in more than this instance)instead of just doing things that surely are going to piss some people off.
