    Question Hair glue/paste/gel

I have a hairstyle kinda like those gotti brothers where u spike it up from the front and the sides near the front of the face and I use hair gel from dippity-do but i dont like how it makes my hair look, it makes it look thin.

What about hair paste(glue)? Anyone else use this? does it make your hair thick looking with the spikey style where u put it up??

Is hair paste(glue) bad for your hair?? can it make u bald faster?

I use Joico Ice Spiker, ie. elmers glue for the hair. Use as much as you like, I don't think its bad for your hair or will cause baldness. Why would they make a product that makes your hair fall out?

I use d:fi extreme hold from Americain Crew, availble only in fine hairsalons.

It is strong shit and hold my hair in place like no other. However it doesnt give the wet look of gel.

Its kinda like wax but it is just a little more pasty but still I have very stubborn hair and that shit hold in place.

It does the contrary it actually brings volume to your hair doesnt thin it out like gel/.

That's what I use, too. I have really thick hair and I don't need much to do the job.

Anything that clogs your hair folicules isn't good for them. Most gels, pomades, creams, goop, etc, will do this.

If your hair is thinning, you can still use hair goop, just make sure to apply it so that it gets on your hair and not your scalp (easier said than done, but it can be done).

It's not good for long hair, because it will damage the outer layer of the hair shaft, which will make it look dull and worn-out, and will make it harder to comb and will promote tangling.
If you keep your hair short, then your hair will grow out about as fast as the damage accumulates on your hair.

If you get this stuff on your scalp, it could get into your hair follicules and clog them up, which will make life difficult for them. Do this for very long, and they'll shut down production of hair, and then you start going bald.

Best thing is to keep your scalp clean (wash daily with a transparent shampoo like baby shampoo, because it rinses away better than the other types), which will promote healthy hair follicules, which will grow more hair for ya.
