Well here in BC it's pretty much common place, and a drastic amount of population uses it (pretty much amsterdam the second, we have cafe's and stuff advertised on the radio were you can smoke). It's not really a big deal, and I'm a pretty free minded person and say anything in moderation is okay as long as it doesn't hurt you.

Hard drugs are a different story but those are pretty straight forward.

agreed, like i said in the thread, i'll try almost anything once, definitely not hard drugs, but i don't see a major problem with it, i have lots of friends that use it and it doesn't change them

I say as this sport dictates its self-discipline more than anything. But thats my IMO on the subject. Arnold blazed it, he was kinda big so do some other pros I know they just won't admit it. Good way to increase that appetite but just restrict the use to ensure lungs are kept healthy other than that one time occasionally is better than one time alcohol use and we all know the facts behind that.

I have friends too who try or do any kind of drug or whatever that fall on their hands, and they attitude towards me doesn't change. But whats the point of trying drugs? None. Being open minded? and whats the point of that? None. Just new age attitude towards life.
My truebothers don't, we're a closed circle and drugs are stricty prohibited by unanimity of the 6. We're a straigh edge group.

Well, you have to see, "recreational drugs" is a different term to you than it is to me. To you, I guess you see miss mary J in the same class as the rock, white stuff and all that. Sadly it's a very very different beast, those drugs are not comparable to each other, and you might think they are because of your laws and what you see on TV, but then you'd also believe that steroids will kill you, because they're all in the same boat in the states.

So trust me, they're different. AAS and the greens are classified together in canada, and THEY BOTH have a purpose, and both are suscribed to sick people by doctors, then people get them for personal use and use them for things other than they're intention. Seems pretty similar to me man, and getting high from smoking a bit isn't like it is on TV dude, you don't get all f'd up and delirious, that's called propaganda, just like the roid crap.

That being said I don't advocate it, it can be abused and ruin your life but so can anything (AAS included), nor do I use it very often. But don't feed the hype machine.
