I know at least 3 guys in college bigger than him and natural. I don't see it in his future. The only questions he's asked nark or willing to take advise on is his gear usage. A lot more goes into building a redic body. His receptors will be burnt before he gets near pro level.

I'ma go with his joints will be burnt out before that.....
I can't believe someone who thinks he is a freak of nature has been focusing on bodybuilding for how many years now and STILL hasn't been on stage.... most true freaks at his age already have their national card by now.
i have a feeling something will come up this year and he won't make it......
seems to happen to people that hype themselves up so much then they all of a sudden break something etc.... seen that with a few that are worshipped my internet groupies haha

his training methods are a perfect recipe for arthritis
I mean, he's doing 8-10 sets of fairly heavy squats (makes no sesnse anyway) through what sounds like patellar-femoral pain syndrome confirmed by a doc. Over time if your patella is tracking wrong it can get nasty. But he wouldn't listen to me anyway and things some hammy stretches are gonna fix the problem as well as training through pain.

I was diagnosed with patellar femor syndrome shit where they grind together. it sucks.

I can't believe at his age he is having some prolonged issues... i remember when i first started whoring last summer he would complain about it.... i had a knee issue from overtraining... took 2 weeks to work out the moment the pain became a issue and haven't had problems since...... he doesn't realize that he continues this path he might as well count himself out

I've got it too, from running
we would do 17 mile loops often rowing crew
I just had to give up running distance
you can't contiue to do the things that cause it to flare
thankfully I don't have it bad enough to bother my squats
it's cumulative if you push through pain, he's fvcking his tendons and eventually his cartilage leading to arthritis

-

for me now a long run is 5 miles and I'll have to pop anti-inflams after so my knees can recover
-
03-17-2009, 02:50 PM #137821
Squatting hurts my knees bad, but leg press is usually okay. WEIRD.

03-17-2009, 02:50 PM #137822
You gotta have respect for you competitors and the sport.... thinking your gonna blow by everything is disillusioned and pretty disrespectful
I try to stay in reality and the pressure gets to me... I watch a lot of the national level guys videos and shit and there are a ton of big dudes out there that have a pro caliber physique.... I wanna know what i'll be up against when i do get there in order to battle for that sacred pro card...

Whoring yourself out there, kinda like you do, but fankhouser has a huge fan base, he posts on boards all the time, puts of pre-contest pics, videos, generally makes sure he's in everyones face all the time/

I'm sure i injured my neck muscles and cervicals working out today..
I was doing some pulldown and bam! painfull nap on the left side on the next, pain running from the upper part of the back up to the head. Shit. i had to quit overhead movements and most likely overhead movement are out for me for some months.
No pullups, pulldowns, lat raises...and general light weights.
-
03-17-2009, 03:24 PM #137838
That's silly. How do you know you can't do overhead movements for months? You might be good to go quicker than you think
