cool man, well she is about 20hrs from me...i live ina small town almost to the NWt territories border....google Fort Nelson and you will see why Bears and shit are just another day at the office...i am pretty remote, 4hrs to the nearest city of 20k people and my town has about 4000....hahaha...ya i actually hit a bear last year going to work, just a cub so the damage was minor, but that was weird...i have seen cougars, owls, moose, bears and even a wolverine....

nah think most people here like tourists.. round my area Londoners piss us off more than foreign tourists.. as they act like they own the place when there here.

An round my area there's a lot of history with the Americans due to the amount of airfields that were round here during WW2 (as right on the east coast), so American tourists are pretty welcome.
