I knew I forgot something about pinks... These plays tend to be a pump and dump play.. you get in them cause there is word they are gonna go up. And when/if they do its big and quick then they are dumped never to return lol. but the problem with this is if you don't hold a stock for more then 1 year you will have to pay 35% TAX!!!!!!!!!! So really in my opinion you are better off finding a solid moving company, invest for a year or more and take your profit out then. Its much much much much better odds of taking a profit then with these micro pennies, and you can make 20% less then what you would have made in the penny and still clear the same if not more (i can't remember the lower tax %) .... get into a stock a $.004 and hope that i goes up to $.008 and get 35% ripped away as you nerviously watch the carts for when to sell or.... buy something at like $12 a share that has been on the rise and when it hits $20 a share sell out a year later without the crazy feelings of BUY SELL AHH?! and make the same amount of profit on a better guarantee

don't get me wrong, i play pennies cause they are fun imo.. but never with anything more then like $500 tops! Just cause if i loose that its not the end of the world. And never ever ever be afraid to take a profit on a penny.. its holding at 33% but you think it would hit 100%.. just take the 33% if your portfolio goes up 20% in 1 year, you are an awesome trader.

A prop firm is a proprietary trading firm which means you trade an account for them and get to use the firms money. In exchange for using their money, they get a cut of your profits(at first). If your under capitalized(which it sounds) then you should look into them. I don't know how it would work with you being international but one I know off hand is http://www.vtradergroup.com.

Go on Elitetrader.com and you can find a ton more information if your interested.

Thanks for the info, man! I'll definitely look into this and see if it is right for me.

I was a full time day trader for an equities prop firm for about a year. I now just trade the mornings. I needed a steady income and trading is all over the place. I had $10k in my trading account and I had $250k in buying power. That's one of the advantages of trading through a prop firm. Plus their executions are alot faster then retail but that has more to do with day trading then swing trading or buy and hold.

Nice! I'm a web developer but every day I think about becoming a day trader more and more. The money seems to come so easily... it's a bit addicting. I just don't feel comfortable enough to quit my job just yet.

start a company, get a qualifying fund that you direct.. a sub-s corp..

then roll the money into the qualifying account..

take a loan at from the account.. (no taxes) and repay it with very favorable terms..over the next 50 years..

easy to do.. see your tax man.. if he says you can't do it.. get a different tax man..
