My latest movie reviews...

"Awake" with Hayden Christensen (Anikan Skywalker) and Jessica Alba was surprising good. Don't make it you’re #1 pick but Terrence Howard adds zest to this ensemble that makes for a good film.

"This Christmas" was okay, good eye candy throughout and you simply won't believe how great Regina King (Ice Cube's sister from 'Friday') looks now...very fit, but she's no Brittany Daniels yet. This one is very passable.

"The Perfect Holiday" with Gabrielle Union and Morris Chestnut was good if you like them, but ranks as one of the most predictable storylines I've ever viewed. Latifah, Howard, Charlie Murphy round it out for laughs, but again pass!

"I Am Legend" lives up to the hype! This film gives you what you came for, and then some. Will is well, Will...quite good, and in better condition than ever before. There's a shirtless chin-up scene in which he looks like a ripped NFL receiver...Tbol fit, not Dbol ! Great movie, it doesn't garner my money back guarantee, but almost. A bit short at only 100 minutes, that's the romantic comedy duration...but as good as advertised!

So what the hell is I'm legend about and please tell me the whole story, I don't give a shlt about knowing a movie before I watch it, I skip thru dvds and if looks slow or stupid I skip it. Tell me the plot and the end too, I don't want to waste money if it's dumb.

plus it was rather short.

As always, I respect your avid movie-going opinion xlx, but before writing it off as a Johnny-Come-Lately consider the following:

There are stark similarities, but this is a "VIRTUAL REMAKE" meaning only the title and upgrades are different, and therefore came long before those two...

Remember there's not a lot of autonomy on a "VIRTUAL REMAKE" meaning only the title and upgrades are different...

yeah I am legend had soooo much potential, if they only stuck with the book ending. it starts as a really good movie about the psychology of a the last living person on earth and ends up with a resolution that seemed forced. i dunno, if it kept the book ending, there could have been a sequel that could have been just as good, and yeah smith's acting was a very pleasant surprise, to say the least.

I liked Legend. It's just like O M E G A man (1971 Charleton Heston Movie). CGI did suck and it was a bit short, but over all it was a good movie, unless you would rather see Alvin and the chipmunks.

Don't know if this one's coming to the multi-plex at the mall, but if it's in your town it's a real cute movie, funny AND poignant as all get out.

"Juno" is about a teenage girl who gets pregnant by her best friend and then decides to do an "old school" adoption with a super-yuppie couple who want a baby.

A great movie, no matter what your politics might be.

It's a really great movie. The actress who plays Juno is sort of a young Christina Ricci, with overtones of Winona Ryder (sp?) when she was VERY young.

No exploding vampires or robots from outer-space, though, so how good could it really be, anyway?

I will see how it does; I remember when the Pianist came out. I thought it was going to be horrible movie and it was an amazing movie.

Saw Beowulf in 3D again...the best 3D film I've ever seen. Throw in Angelina Jolie, a Spartanesque Beowulf (both in physique & ability), the monster Grindle, plus a dragon and you get one heck of a mythic action movie.
