Fawk! Hey at least everyone predicated them to be out of the playoffs, instead they finished 1st and got to the second round. Being the youngest team as well, future looks promising.

I feel for them..I realllly feel for Price, hes only TWENTY years old and he can only carry the team so much!!!! He is an awsome goalie and I think within the next two years the Habs will have the cup.. I believe Koivu Is going to go though! I think its the Penguins this year, they have been building that team for a long time, just as Montreal has, but they are further ahead!! Look out for the habs next year!!!

id like to see the pens win the cup this year forsure, great team and alot of young stars on the team.Going to be a top team for years to come too.
-
^ Sorry, guys. Pavel, Hank and "The Mule" are going to have something to say about the Pens wining the cup if they meet there.

I think Detroit is going to go all the way. Either way I think the chanmpion will come out from the west. I just dont like Philly, they arent that good, nor Pittsburgh's defence.

Wings are playing some good Ice. Tickets are about 100 for glass seats here in Dallas. But it sucks cause I think Detroit is a better team, but it'll be a badass series. Plus I grew up in Detroit and now live in Dallas so this is exactly what I've been waiting for.

Red wings all the way, 3 strong front lines and two good D lines and the other lines are also good just not as powerful as the strong lines. Ozzy is doing ok and I think he will light it up more now as he gets closer to the cup.
SO GO WINGS GO!!!!!!!!!

Predictions:
Detroit over Dallas in 5
Pittsburgh over Philly in 6

I wouldnt underestimate Dallas, again regardless I think the winner will come from the west.
-
I'm not underestimating. I'm giving them a win, that was nice enough wasn't it?
They'll take game 3 at home. IF Marty Turco plays half as good as he played last night the series will go 6.

Holy shit. 100 for glass seats in dallas. I got tickets to game 2 and 5 in Pittsburgh 5 rows behind the benches and they were 185 a piece. i got 4 for each game.

Holy sh*t thats cheap. Glass seats for a habs game is AT LEAST $500

^ That's not too bad. In Detroit you can't even get within the first 10 rows for less than $200. If you want on the glass or first 2 rows you're looking at $300+.
edit: I just looked them up online and the cheapest seats on the glass are $473 and as much as $650. Crazy expensive.Last edited by StoneGRMI; 05-05-2008 at 11:29 AM.

Man, being a Ranger fan I hate the Pens and the Flyers... I would like to see the Stars win because Mikey Modano rules, but i think the Wings are gonna take it.

Wings in 5. I'm hoping 6 so I can peep another game before the season is over.

Oh, and this round I can't get Glass tickets, but 4 rows up start at $207.

That had to be embarassing for the Dallas fans last night. GO WINGS!

Ya prada me either. I thought both these series would be good. I had the pens in 6 and the wings in 5. I hope it will be Pens vs. Wings in the finals. I got tickets to the finals but im thinking bout scalping them. 10rows back would pull in some good cash.
Pens flyers game 1 tonight.
Sid the Kid will lead us there.

GO WINGS! Even without the Mule we can manhandle anyone!

Well looks like wings are going to take care of the Stars. If so I just dont see the Penguins standing up to them.
-
If the Wings and Pens end up in the finals it will be a good series but I think the Wings are too deep for anyone right now. They're smoking Dallas with their hottest goal scorer sidelined!

Malkin is under contract until the end of next season (09) and even then he is a restricted free agent not to mention that there is a pay limit that he can make so there is very little chance that he will be going anywhere wihtin the next 6 years unless another team wants to give up the world to get him. He doesn't have too much of a say in it until he becomes unrestrict free agent following his next deal.....probably in 2014 or so. They will offer him a 5-6 year league max deal like they did with Crosby. Crosby is unrestricted in 2013 I think. Still, there is always that pay ceiling that can't be crossed no matter who you are as far as I know. That's why I love the NHL.
