I think the Democrats created too much of a battle between Hillary and Obama. Now, I think Hillary's Dems will vote Republican just so Obama does not win.
I am once again saddened that I am not impressed with any of the candidates. Therefore spending too much time on which one is worse than the other seems like a waste.
But, Americans may be down on religion, but if you are running for president, rest assured your life, religion and family is going to be tested, looked at and scrutinized by the public.

Religion was created by man, and uses fear to control.

Exactly and it's also possible to have a god existing outside religion. Religion is just man made and no different to a money making corporation......

A HQ or head office: vatican, Mecca.
A CEO: Pope, caliph.
A hierarchy of power within the corporation: patriarch, archibishop, bishop, priest, layman, caliph, Imam
A code of conduct/ethics: bible, Quran.
A constant struggle for monopoly over the "market": missionary work,terrorism
A company name: christianity, islam
A company logo: crucifix, arabic calligraphy.
