    Yeah and I can do 405 for 1 perfect rep, but if I did it like him I am sure I could do 4 or 5 too.

    that dude is lucky he didn't hurt himself doing it like that...tear a muscle or tendon or something.... his back all arched like that too...whew... I think he needs to be more careful. that is crazy and also crazy heavy weight to be doing that.

    bouncing off the chest is another way of training when you hit a plateau.

    the cheating principle

    But yes when you do that ..the bounce comes down with a force and then
    your chest and arms gives a good push momentum to help you past that hard point.

    it is not suppose to be done every time you hit the gym...just once it a while
    to change it up...or you are tring to add strength.

    i was benching 405 with perfect form for 1 rep then i blew my bicep playing flag football. now i walk around the gym telling how i used to bench 405 and blew my bicep playing flag football.

    At a gym I used to lift at there was this one guy - horrible, horrible physique. He would put 405 on a smith machine, unlock the hooks and then move the bar like an inch ten times. He'd never even unlock his shoulders or elbows.

    Of course he'd then puff his chest out and strut around.

    they do their bicep curls on the cable pully machines. and do the same shit.
