i gotta go rampage cuz he beat chuck. but by the same token when has forrest ever had his ass kicked but still not been right there to win. it should be really good. i am pretty sure it wont go to the ground. but toe to toe i would say rampage has an edge but i dont think he can knock forrest out. i say rampage unanaimous decision.

I agree. Forest is a tuff dude. He is so well rounded and can take a beating too. Although I would love to see Jackson knock him out!

even though i would freaking love to see griffin win jackson has the better chance here. jackson is going to come straight at him and try to take him down to avoid going toe to toe which is griffins only real advantage

damn that sucked. Jackson handled the loss impressively tho. He's a good guy to have representing the sport. Especially because of his sense of humor.

    After watching the link. IDK...

1st round- Rampage because of the knockdown... griffen was hurting his leg pretty sick though
2nd round - Griffen dominated that round with a 10-8
3rd round - Rampage the agressor and better of punches
4th round - Rampage the agressor and better on exchanges
5th round - I guess that could have gone to griffen, but it was a close one.

so I had 3 rounds rampage and 2 rounds griffen with a 10-8 round in the second.

That is watching it from the link and not live... Live is a little bit different.

I think the fight was close. When you fight a champ you have to decidedly
beat him. I don't think I can say Forest beat him...it was close.
Then should rule in Rampage's favour though.

    That's my opinion.

rnd 1 - page all the way
rnd 2 - griffin all the way, could even say it was a 10-8
rnd 3 - page landed combos and griffin missed alot
rnd 4 - more of the same but page gets a takedown and girffin does abit better standing
rnd 5 - griffins rnd, but page kept it competitive

my score was 48-47 page because i dont think rnd 2 was a 10-8 rnd. he hurt em with the leg kicks, but i dont think he was ever close to stopping page with a tko or sub. he sure tried though, lol.

Rampage was on his back for 4:30 in the second round. He didnt land a single punch in round two.

like i said, could be considered a 10-8 rnd, just not to me. he had dominant positon, but he was never in a position to where he almost had rampage out or subbed. even with it being a 10-8 rnd page still won three rnd anyways imo. so a draw at best for griffin.

Forrest had the mount for quite awhile. He really didnt land any bombs from the full mount. I think the leg kicks and the four plus minutes that rampage was on his back is what got forrest the 10-8 round.

I wasn't bothered who won as I really like both figthers, and they both put up a great fight IMO, it's just good to see how far forest has come since winning the ultimate fighter.

I would agree that rampage would have took it if his leg wasn't hurting as bad as it was, he has some serious punching power in his arsenal, but you have to admire forest he chose a game plan and stuck to it, the old forest would have just tried standing toe to toe and would have got KO'd.

I can't see why people are saying Forest shouldn't have won it. Jackson wasn't even shocked at the decision himself, he put his hands up and said sometimes he gets his ass whooped and this was one of those times.
