    I went to mexico with my best friend when we were soph. in highschool....mind you this is not the typcial tourist attraction area we went to...his family when compared to US standards were poor as F***!!! we stayed there 4 2nights...one afternoon we had these green things that looked like mini tacos...it was a plant simillar to lettuce on the outside and some bright green substance on the inside. It was actually good!..that night i asked my friends dad what was in that, and he refused to tell me...on the plane ride home his father told me that the green stuff in the middle was GOAT S***!!!! they take it from the intestines (kinda like chitlin)..but it was bright freaking green and actually good...

    Are you still in Chicago? I was there two weekends ago and went to Tsunami for sushi then the next night went to Mirai. Both were excellent. Tsunami had a better atmosphere and drinks while Mirai had better sushi.

    Fugu (blowfish) - ate it just after it was sliced off a live one. No taste, but pretty chewy.
    Horse - the Mr. Ed type, not the AR monitor type.
    Whale - tastes like ass.
    Rocky Mountain Oysters - of both the cow and sheep variety.
    And I'm pretty sure I've eaten cat and dog before during visits to Korea and China.

    I went to a restaurant in Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam with some of the locals and they brought out a live Cobra. They split it open alive and put the still beating heart in a bowl for me to eat. "when in Rome" !!!! So I swallowed it. They then cooked up the rest of it and servied it in different courses
