Professional resume builders..
Has anyone used a professional resume builder website? I got a pretty solid resume currently, but I feel having it professionally done would give me a good competitive edge entering the business world in the next 6 months. For $100 I figure it'd be a good investment if i could get a great resume out of it

I don't believe in those. Your best bet is to have one of your old or current English/Biz profs look it over.

I did that, at my university the layout they expect us to use is so incredibly generic and cheap looking i was almost embarrassed

I used one. THey didnt change much on my resume but it did look better. But the yfixed my cover letter alot. And honestly with out a good cover letter they might not even look at your resume

Isn't a cover letter subjective to that specific job/company though?

have you ever used a style coach?? would you??
if so, then do the resume deal.. however, best jobs that paid the most have always been referral..
but the rat race is the rat race, and you must stand out..
i wouldn't use a site, but a person..The answer to your every question

i bought a book once on resumes. it was pretty helpful and finding the right layouts to focus on your strengths and for the type of jobs your looking for. it was pretty helpful.

no need you can get a book at borders for 10-15 bucks and format it yourself. they get out dated every few years but a much better investment imo
