NO INCOME TAX WHAT SO EVER would be the most fair. There are numerous reasons for this, and our government does not need an income tax. Our country did JUST FINE up to 1913 without one!....The income tax does not pay for a single service that our government provides. Government can continue to fulfill its intended functions without the income tax. The founding fathers did not envision a country where the government STOLE 20-33% of your earnings. They fought a war over the same type of taxation practices, and won.

And unfortunately, I think that Obama is more polarizing than is McCain...If we use a realist perspective on what each candidate is actually likely to accomplish then McCain looks more favorable then less.

McCain is very unlikely to overturn a SCOTUS decision all by his lonesome, and the likelyhood that any SCOTUS justices he appoints would do so as well is unlikely...

However, with a Democratically controlled Congress and a Democratic president it's quite likely that Obama could raise taxes, and that he would be able to pass further gun legislation.

Republicans who might have considered crossing party lines in November will not do so simply because of the danger to the 2A...

McCain appointing ultra conservative judges goes against what republicans have been whining about...judges legislating from the bench. If elected McCain will appoint judges that would overturn Roe v. Wade even though more than 2/3 of the population are in favor of the that ruling and agree with a woman's right to choose. It would be horrible.

Here's the difference, while Obama IS trying to impose more restrictions on gun ownership and deny it in some high crime areas, McCain has already stated that he would love to overturn Roe v Wade. Even though since he has become the nominee, he has paraded on the mantra of letting the states decide. Bullshit!

But quite honestly, both these issues have little importance to me. Although I do have both a wife and daughter and the right to choose is huge for them. I think there are many more pressing issues and these bullshit 'moral' issues are being used to distract us from the 'real' issues!
