I bought one several years ago. From the little i have read over the years the voltage those things put out now are crazy high. Mine was a top of the line one when I bought it like 10 years ago but I think the current voltage maximums blow doors off of mine.

I do not know which is the best.

What I would really like to get my hands on is one of those bean bag firing guns that propel a bean bag at high velocity and can easily knock someone on their ass, even a real big dude, something comparable to being hit with a baseball bat or something.

When you find out which is the best and/or purchase one I'd be interested to read your update. I've never used mine (or carried it anywhere as they are illegal in the state I live in). I just bought it as a novelty item more or less.

naw, rapist and criminals do now.. makes the victim much more compliant..

many states have outlawed the sale, and or use.. check where you are at for compliance..

I'm actually glad that the word isn't really out on the street about the effectiveness of stun guns to aid in the commission of crimes.

Walk up behind someone with a fat diamond ring on their finger when there are no eyewittnesses in the vacinity. Stun her from behind. Take ring. Walk away. She can't even possibly ID you. Seems like a much safer way to pull an armed robbery in public compared to pointing a gun at someone and demanding money, or a knife. They never even see your face....

Have you ever zapped yourself with it? My brother has one and zapped himself just to see. He wanted to hit me with it, I had no desire to know what that feels like. I've got a good imagination, and I'm thinking I wouldn't like it one bit.

Bought one at the market, made all the right sounds and heaps of lightning, kept wondering and wondering what it would feel like so i hit the dog with it,,,,,,, did nothing, he's ears moved due to the sound but otherwise nothing.

If you want one go for the good ones......

No way. I just clicked the button to see the current run between the two little prongs on the end. I really don't even know where it is in my house anymore... I would like to see how it works but am not sadistic enough to zap an animal or anything and really don't want to zap myself.

What the hell does their color have to do with anything? They were a group of musicians who talked about beating the shit out of people and shooting cops. Maybe that's what could be construed as threatening.....

Please! I don't fake logs. It's in iChat on a Mac. iChat saved it as a graphic, not a text file.
