    Here we go again:

Appaloosa – Good western by present day standards, but slow and developmental a la “3:10 to Yuma” and “Seraphim Falls”.

Body of Lies – A superbly done, very politically charged, but also well-acted and action packed (to brim). If you only go occasionally, see this one!

Burn After Reading – Corny, quirky, and very off-beat, but good to see Brad in such an atypical role. Not everyone can digress this far, so good film, but only if you’re in the mood for utter stupidity!!!

Eagle Eye – Action, action, action. As we’ve known since Transformers and his appearance as Indiana Jones’ son, the industry is grooming Shia to be the next big action hero. This one doesn’t disappoint the action junkie!!!

Ghost Town – This movie is like Big Louie, in that it has its moments, but never truly reaches its potential. It’s funny, but rather off-beat as borrows from insights from “Ghost” and a few less notable flicks…PASS!

How to Lose Friends & Alienate People – Superb in every since of the word, the script, casting, and chemistry are all there. This is very good film and should be the present pick for the comedy-oriented!!!

Quarantine – Though severely lacking in star power, this is a quality terror/horror film, with some never before seen takes on the quasi-zombie (all I can say without disclosing exactly what’s going on). But there is one caveat, it’s filmed in the frenetic, often disjointed, handheld “Blair Witch” and “Cloverfield” format which may disturb many viewers.

Righteous Kill – Lots of potential here with Deniro and Pacino, but it only amounts to two very old cops spending two hours on screen wasting two hours out of my very finite lifetime. 4.5 out of 10 from me...PASS!

Miracle at St. Anna – Spike is back with a winner. This is very good film even though it wants for acting throughout, causing you to literally suffer at times. Caveats here include some overt racism, and lots of gore (blood and guts).

Ahhh, the beauty of the multiplex!!!
Well, I use the Disneyworld/land philosophy in that all rides/movies are covered with a single admission. I typically schedule them in advance (back to back showings) and carve out enough time to see two flicks on my weekly outings.
