BULLSHIT
Im glad you idiots who dont have a clue what makes the business world work, are going to help destroy it. I am a small business owner. You are trying to take food from my family's mouth with your arrogant, "I want my team to win at all costs" assumptions.
oh, and yes, Obama is a Socialist, deal with it. I dont feel like giving my money to whomever needs their vote bought.

I've seen the tax tables for the industry my parents are in and the cost burdon they will bear dependant on who wins the election. The costs are substantially higher for Obama's tax plan. They've already cut their workforce to match the economic downturn. When businesses are enjoying profits, they hire more people.

Everyone that is shitting bricks on Taxes listen up. We live in a country full of Freedom, yes Freedom. You can accomplish anything you want if you push hard and work you're ass off. A place where you can walk on the street calm and feel secure. This is a small price to pay for what we have. Another thing, where in a huge defecit and someone has to pay that shit off, so I guess who ever makes more pays more right?

People steal shit when they're unemployed.
Obama has no interest in the deficit, he wants more money to spend more money.
And no people who have more shouldn't always have to pay more, but should pay their fair share. People should be paid their going rate. Look at the automotive industry for example. The unions negotiated heath care, pensions, and all kinds of stuff with the American car companies when they were doing well. Fast forward 20 years, the companies from Japan hire people for the same work at $12 dollars an hour that the American companies are paying $30 for. How can our workforce be competitive in a global market if the real cost is so high? We as a nation can't afford to give everybody everything. The guy working at McDondals should get heathcare, schools for his kids, food stamps, housing assistance. What are we really paying him to flip burgers as a nation?Last edited by Kratos; 10-28-2008 at 11:30 AM.

I live in North CA, right on the beach. I guess since houses are so expensive here you can't have any fuc..k ups buying houses around here. LOL But overall you feel more secure living in the U.S. Go to Mexico and feel the difference, you can't even count on the cops down there. You have to watch you're back on them too.

Funny Story I was sent:
[I was talking to a friend of mine's little girl, and she said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?"
She replied, "I'd give houses to all the homeless people."
"Wow - what a worthy goal." I told her, "You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50.
"Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house."
She thought that over for a few seconds 'cause she's only 6. And while her Mom glared at me, she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?"
And I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party." Her folks still aren't talking to me.]

I don't know where people like you come up with things like thinking one man can make or break an economy. Take a 5th grade Social Studies class and you might learn that we have 3 different branches of govt. The Legislative Branch makes the laws/policies. That would be House/Senate...currently controlled by Demo'n'crats. One man did not sink the economy alone.
Then take a High School Economics class and you may learn that the economy is in fact cyclical. It CAN NOT always be good times for the everyone. You take the downs with the ups.
If those classes weren't too much for you then try taking a University Finance class. You will learn that the ignorant Bailout Bill that your Democratic held Congress passed just made your dollar and the exchange rate look like play money by printing and handing out what will equate to free money.
Look at that...you did not have to hear any of that 'off the street.'

you know you might not belive this but i do, i think that civilian voting only has a little to do with who actually gets elected. i think u.s officials and politiciants and people in positions of power really matters. it ssaid that in texas people in positions of authority as a different voting site than civilians. what yor input on this cause im not 100% sure this is accurate.

The economic downturn and credit crunch is a worldwide problem. The euro is doing great exchange rate wise, but europeans aren't.

yes, but both parents are citizens
Obama's are not
It's a matter for the courts, and shouldn't be talked about in the media or be a factor in the election. Because, I'd like to think innocent until proven guilty still exisits in America. If he was born in Hawaii, it shouldn't cost him the election.

^^ Is that even a complete thought?
Fine I'm a desk crappie...whatever that is...ouch. How does your time in the Marines have anything what so ever to do with the economy?
I fairly sure as a Finance major and being involved in the market for a living that...yep...I know a thing or to about what I'm saying. If you would like a lesson in economics/finance let me know...that way next time the subject comes up you don't come across as such an uneducate Neanderthal.
I respect your military service but don't think for a second that me being educated makes me a soft ass.

I don't know why a reduction in the deficit even comes up when talking about Obama trying to raise more tax revenue. Neither candidate has any plans for reducing the national debt.
Where is the money for the deficit going to come from? his 10-year, $150 billion program to "establish a green energy sector," his 10-year, $60 billion "National Infrastructure Reinvestment Bank," his nearly universal health care plan (whose annual price tag he low-balls at $50 to $65 billion) and a host of refundable tax credits ranging from $4,000 per year for college students to a tripling of the Earned Income Tax Credit, A $25 billion-a-year increase in foreign aid, $18 billion a year in education spending, 3.5 billion for a national service plan
Both candidates want substantial military withdrawl from Iraq by 2013, but neither will commit to numbers or total exit. Actually, Obama wants to increase defense spending. He wants to add 65,000 troops to the Army and recruit 27,000 more Marines to fight terrorism.
It's a bigger budget, needs more taxes.

paying down the deficit, pft
ever pay someone back?
It's like kissing your sister...it's no fun.
We only got closer to a balanced budget because tax revenues were exploding durring the Clinton administration. They were taking in money faster than they could spend it.
Tax revenue went up nearly 90%
It was because of the internet, and the economic boom it created, not Bill freakin Clinton.

The economy (U.S.) saw it's stronest grow in nearly 20 years in 2003. I checked and Bush was President then...

Who would want McCain as president anyways. That guy is in and out of the hospital every month. If he dies and Palin is in charge, were dummed.

Who would want Obama as president? He's black and the KKK will kill him, then we'll be stuck with Joe Biden.
See how stupid that sounds.
I would take Palin over McCain, and McCain over Obama. I hate everybody and Palin is the most $$$ responsible. She isn't as dumb as she's made out to be.

10-29-2008, 06:49 PM #78
its funny cause the kkk have endorsed oboma and given money too his campaign. i mean its almost funny cause there making it seem like the klan is a multimillion dollar corp. i mean they dont want a black in office as much as a women..... i know thier plan though, thier gonna help oboma succeede and then kill him so the vice steps up and everyone is happy again...
