My Dalmation
Had to put her to sleep yesterday.
She had a herniated disc in her neck and a liver tumor for the last year and was on prendisone, muscle relaxants and pain meds. It was like $300 bucks a month to keep her on pills. She did well with it and was happy for the last year, but the past couple of days she wasn't happy and couldn't walk. I knew it was going to happen, and now she's gone.
These are recent pics, you can see in the one she's standing up the harness I used to help her get down stairs.
Best dog I could have asked for. She was 11 and a half years old.

Thanks guys, I miss her already very much. It's tough to come home from work and not see her there and know she's gone. I'm not going to get another dog for awhile now.

I'm really sorry bro. I'm going through the same, just had to put my cairn terrier down a few weeks back. I know how you feel. I think I'm having a harder time dealing with this than when I've lost people that I've known. I still come home expecting her to be there waiting for me. There's nothing like the unconditional love that they give you.
Just remember you gave her a good life and in the end did what was best for her.
