Honestly I am not that familair with other states. I wish there was a standardized sentancing guideline requirement for all states. If you do 'x' you get this much time. It woul dhave to be very exhaustive but atleast it would be clear if your ass rapes someone and they die so do you in just a few days after you get convicted. If you steal a car you get 'x' time. It could be a very powerful deterent if used properly. I hate that judges can sentance you from 5 to 99 for 1st degree felony. It is too unfair and broad.
oh an dyeah I missed the bush comment.

Lets not forget obama wants to tax firearm ammunition by 500% then he wants to add a seriel number to every bullet so they could prove who fired that bulllet but we all know that would do no good its just a way to try to bunkrupt firearm companies.

Difficult because the weapon is not for sale in the civilian market. Although if you'll think back to what I said about how to legally obtain automatic weapons and silencers, that also applies to destructive devices such as high capacity auto shotguns and grenade launchers. So you have a few options
Armsel Striker

Daewoo (yes the car company) USAS-12 - I think this one is actually based on the original AA-12.

Cobray Streetsweeper - based on the Armsel Striker

I think im just going to have to stick with a handgun. When the b/f asked me what the hell i needed such a powerful gun for i told him protection for the new home we might be getting but he wasn't buying it. I tried to tell him if a robber broke in and was hiding on the the other side of the wall that instead of waiting for him to pop out and shot him we could just take down the entire wall with him behind it and that end it all right there. I just got a smirk and then he asked me what i was ordering for dinner.

A handgun would be a good choice. Just make sure you get a large enough caliber. 9mm is common and is a decent personal defence round, but it is better suited for concealed carry imo. For something you're going to keep at home or in your car, .45 would be my choice because is has enough force to knock someone off their feet, and in a personal defence situation, neutralizing the threat is your obvious priority.
But also keep in mind that Mossberg makes a variety of pistol grip shotguns very well suited for home defense (or killing zombies, whichever you prefer). They are affordable, manueverable, powerful, and nothing is going to scare the shit out of an intruder more than the "click click" of a pump-action shotgun. Also take into account that buckshot spreads so you have a higher chance of hitting your target even in low light. On top of all that, there's much less danger of the projectiles over-penetrating and entering your neighbor's home and what not.

I would actually install a full choke and use 000 buckshot for home protection purposes also a shorter style stock preferably cut out synthetic would give you quicker handling and a more accurate sighting. You should remember a good shotgun will point its self when shouldered something a shotgun with a pistol grip will not do. Also dsm with a little practice you should be able to shoot with both eyes open which is very benificial. It allows for you to follow your target better.
