the bible illustrates marraige as a man having sex with a women. "...and he took her unto him" for example. A womans body is set up exactly like the temple of God. It has the gate, the outer court and the inner court. The inner court is where the priest alone were able to go. The man who enters the womans inner court, consequently entering through a viel and shedding blood, becoame her husband or her priest. In the way he becomes the head of the woman even as Christ became the head of the church (speaking of St Paul).

Men are commanded to love women in the bible, but women are only commanded to respect their husbands. Nowhere are they commanded to love thier husband interestingly enough.

Religion has no monopoly on marraige. All I am saying is that from a Christains perspective it is little wonder why the concept of same sex marraige cannot be accepted biblically.

I find many of the comments in this thread to be interesting. I leave it with this, study to show thine ownself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I don't even know why anyone gives a shit what these two dildos think. That chick and Mrs. Perez have no effect on my life, your life or ANYONES lives.

They can both do what they want, say what they want and get the f over it. I have more important issues to deal with.

I agree with what T-Mos said...

And adding in more, it is just pathetic that this gay marriage stuff is people publicized so much. Being "Gay" is/has become a fad, it almost seems like it is the "cool" thing to do in Hollywood. It seems like more gays have sprouted up in the past 3 years than there have been in the 100 years prior.

Ya; the anti-gay marriage crowd want acceptance, but they won't accept.

I do not have to agree with you to accpet you. I do not agree with same sex marraige either, but I don't discriminate against gays. I just have a different a opinion just like she did.
You'll change that opinion when we gays get control of government, and then force all heterosexual people into gay marriages.

Mark my word, you'll enjoy the experience more than you'll want to admit . . .

Not everybody is a Christian; and there is no law that requires everybody to live according to what the Bible says.

Me, I'm not Christian, don't want to be one, either. So, I don't have to follow what the Bible has to say about marriage. What do you think about that?

Legislating "morality" is always a sticky situation. It is nobody's right to inflict their views upon another. I think we can all agree that when you trespass against another (rape, murder, assault, theft, etc.) it cannot be tolerated for the good of society as a whole, it doesn't take a genius to see that. In regards to this question though, I don't think the government should recognize anything under the law BUT civil unions, regardless of the sex of those within the contract. Marriage should be an institution of the church, NOT the government. That's freedom for all.

Personally, I couldn’t care less about gay marriage or this controversy. My only question is: What is a gay guy doing judging a beauty pageant? With all due respect, wouldn’t choosing the sexiest woman in America be the last thing Perez Hilton is qualified to do? It’s like asking a vegetarian to judge a BBQ cook off.

By the two posts you have made so far in this thread I think very little of it or you. You sound like perez hilton.

Your religous affiliation or lack there of is of no concern to me. Your sexual orientation is of no concern to me. I wish you success and prosperity in all that you do, best of luck.

While I agree with your point the competition isn't about being sexy I don't think. I think it is about inner and outer beauty. Not really sure, either way Perez hilton is the wrong person for the job and when they can't find a better panel than that it maybe tiem to recognize nobody cares about the competition anymore.

Even though we can't see him at this time. A Christian should always strive to be like Jesus. But not greater than Him. Because when we do that, we too can obtain the ultimate goal in eternal salvation as well an unconditional heart during our stay here on Earth. And an unconditional heart results in true peace here on Earth.

i thought her statement was fine.....she to me personally it's between a man and a woman....honesty is the best policy....she didn't say that gays shouldn't be married or whatever

i also fail to see how the state has any control over this

I think it's retarded that it's ok for anyone to say their opinion about it being ok for 2 people of the same gender to be together but if the opposite opinion is uttered it's WRONG? So if her statements are bullying and trying to push her beliefs on other people, then every time the opposite is said does the same standard apply?

Whole entire ordeal screams PUBLICITY STUNT to me.

Maybe the chickenhead had nothing to do with it but I think the question was set up specifically for her, judges knowing her background. The pageant is so garbage it does not even make prime time TV. They had to stoop so low as to have a psuedo-celeb like this Perez flamer judge?

The guy makes a living drawing dicks over real celebs pictures. Yep...let's hire him to judge women that have endeavored to live above the fray. Whole thing was gas and fire...they knew the outcome beforehand.

Old Donald is a stone cold pimp...laughing all the way to the bank.

And back in New York … At the end of a nearly half-hour ceremony cum press conference, Donald Trump slung a glittery white “Miss California USA” sash across Carrie Prejean. Then they hugged and kissed.

It was a happy ending to what Ms. Prejean and Mr. Trump had described as a traumatic period of “abuse” of her because she had said honestly that she believes marriage should be between one man and one woman. Ms. Prejean noted that both President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton share that view.
