Police Bashing Thread
I was watching the cop's thread in the Q&A and it's clear some members have some pent up rage against police officers. While I declined to take part in that thread, I thought I'd make this thread so you have a place to insult those who sport a badge and gun and tell you how to live.
Share your stories and pics, prejudices and rants!
Or if you want to show your love for the cops, so be it... but make sure you have a handful of jellybeans in case you have to distract Mad Matt to escape.

one day without police officers and people would respect what they do, why they do it and how they do it. police officers are people and some people are idiots so obviously some cops are idiots. i have a ton of respect for law enforcement and what they do to keep the peace as best they can. no i'm not a cop.

i respect what they do for sure.... w/o them our society would fall apart. There definately are some cowboys out there....... but what are you gunna do.... it's always gunna be like that.
if aas was legal in the US there would be a lot less complaining and more love shown for the cops.....

Dude, you have no idea! I can't wait for September; I freakin hate baseball! Gators are stacked (if they can shake the injuries). This is the first year since 2003 I will admit that USC is NOT the best team in the country (as of now ). Gawd damn does January-August suck or what?

how 'bout a thread bashing the wonderfull members of our society that rob and or murder for $20 so they can go pick themselves up a rock to get high. or better yet, a thread bashing our great leaders in d.c. that are spending millions spreading b.s. propaganda about aas and going after decent law abiding and productive citizens that use these destructive steriods that ruin and kill people.

Cops are just people. Unfortunately a lot of them seem to think the can do whatever they want, and unfortunately it seems to be true.

Anybody with at least half a brain can understand the value of law enforcement. Sure cops make mistakes and some of them are dicks, but that's part of being a human being. Most of the people that I know that hate cops are mouthy, beligerant assholes that don't have an ounce of respect for any law.

yeah i guess it depends on which side u lie on. for some people with less law they become more powerful while for others they would be in more danger. the only cops i have ever really got along with is when i used to have about 12 of them on my payroll in south texas. overall some of them are cool but i have had cops steal from me and i have had cops try to arrest me with out proper cause. every time i go to court a jury of my peers always finds me innocent.

I personally know and play poker with a lot of cops. A lot of boy scout bullshyt they are but one I know was recently put in the hospital trying to take out a criminal from another state. Every time they put the uniform on could be their last. They get my respect.

If our system of law wasn't twisted, then an occupation in law enforcement would be an honorable profession. However, our judicial system grants "immunity" to government employees, particularly those employed as law enforcement, putting those people above the law. The judicial act of immunity has spawned a tremendous amount of corruption in the United States. And anyone associated with criminal justice will tell you that police are almost NEVER indicted for any crime by the jurisdiction that they serve.
Furthermore, judges unlawfully instruct jurors that they may only judge the facts and not the law in criminal cases. That is the only reason that laws on steroids and other victimless crime issues remain and has allowed the war on drugs to go on and on. During prohibition, juries would not convict bootleggers and prohibition rapidly ended. Our corrupt politicians fixed that problem by limiting the power of the jury and the foolish people fell for it....
People who enforce unjust laws and take citizens by force to jail and place them at the mercy of our corrupt "justice" system themselves have committed a crime against humanity and against the constitution. The fact that it is legal today does not make it right and does not excuse people from the guilt of their crime.
They have their guilt in their heart and I believe they will face certain judgment for their acts, as each of us all will. This is a perfect world and in the end there will be balance and ultimate justice for all.Last edited by JimInAK; 05-14-2009 at 03:57 AM.

I have friends that are cops, I even have one who is a fed. Myself being a felon, i have no problem with law enforcement. I feel they are doing what they are paid to do.
My issue however are the dirty cops that abuse the badge. The ones who will allow crime as long as it fattens their wallets.
My only other issue is cops who patrol certain areas and act as though they are entightled to respect when they are in Areas they could not be in without a badge. Earn your respect by being fare to those citizens and honoring your oath.

Speak to your local law enforcement about a "ride along." You might get to see the kinds of nonsense police have to deal with. I agree that there's no excuse for abusing their authority, but at the same time, if people would just comply, 9 times out of 10 there will be no problem.

Thanx Csar, but I have to pass. Last time I went for a "Ride Along" I went away for almost 2 years..
