    Mornin Ender

Ragin - I'm looking at some Saucony Ride 5's. The guy at the running store recommended them and the Asics Cumulus 14. Any experience with either of those? Apparently I have a strong foot and am neutral, with very little pronation.

I asked about the Brooks, but he said these are more suited to my form.

I ran in some Saucony Pro Grid and liked them.

I would try what he recommended, both are good shoes. Just have to see how your body/legs adapt to them

Good deal, thanks bud. When I tried them my knees were killin so it was hard to accurately gauge them, but they felt good on. Just wanted to make sure the sales guy wasn't trying to sell me some bs.

I'd swear my life on the Asics; I can't ever find them in my size though. I first started running, loved the shoe, bought 4 pairs and now I'm out. Suck. I have a bit more pronounced pronation, but my foot is really strong and neutral as well.

Thanks bud! These will be my first running shoes and I don't know a damn thing about em.. All I know is I ran a few miles in my Nikes and my knees still fukkin hurt.

I've heard many good things about Asics, but the Saucony look sweet so it's kind of a toss up. Any certain style you recommend?

Dude, I'd take whatever style they have, and buy them all. lol

Like I said I ran out of them (almost literally), and went to a nike running shoe I had. Used them one week; developed plantar facisitis (sp) and couldn't run for a year. It was bad, man.

Don't EVER run in nikes. They're horrid. Asics, NB, and Mizuno are the only shoes I'll ever run in again.

    Damn man... that's shitty.

What shoe size/width you wear? There's gotta be a pair of new Asics out there for ya somewhere..

You know you stink after a workout when you shower, rub on your deodorant, and while you smell better, your deodorant stick doesnt.
