Its really convenient. As opposed to taking out the large blender and assembling it, etc, etc.. just take out the bullet with the built in cup (blade screws on the bottom)... press down to blend. Then unscrew and drink.. 1,2,3. So umm.. in all honesty... yeah, buy one.. lol. My apologies to your gf.. she may have won the battle, but you'll win the war.. haha.
