now now, we must allow others their differences right?? i mean we can't impose our own values on others right??

since you brought it up, i did a little research, and though i found it

basicailly snakes used in shows in india are defanged and de-sacked... but because of the process the snakes dies within a few months because they can't produce the saliva enzymes for digestion..

It's a ritual they do with all the babies from what I read a couple years ago. Like the one where they toss them off a 6+ story building into the crowd. Have you seen that one?

Yeah when I first saw that I was really worried, that kid could really hurt the snake when he grabbed it at the end. LOL

Supposedly the snake can sense there is not real threat and never bites, only strikes but personally I think they take the teeth out and it's BS.

Thanks, I was going to post and asked what nthe hell were they thinking letting a cobra bite their kid.. I am still wondering what the hell they were doing but at least there is no fangs... I know they are a poor country but I still think they could have found a better toy than taking that poor snake, probably holding it and without numbing it ripped the fangs out with pliers, (making it not able to defend it self anymore!) then giving it to a 9month old or whatever the age to play with... C'mon his is kind of sick on some levels!!
