Mad cow disease hits the u.s.
You are going to be some of the first people to hear about this crazy ordeal.
My wife trains a lady who lives down the street from us in the state of SC. Her client came in Golds Gym last night crying and rambling about her dad getting Mad Cow Disease. Once we got her settled down we found out that her 68 year old dad had just been confirmed as the first person ever to have contracted Mad Cow Disease in the United States. They are giving him 2 months to live. She told us that so far there have been 4 reported deaths from Mad Cows disease in the United Kingdom but never has there been any confirmed deaths in the United States. There is not cure for this disease! This man had to get it here or through some imported meat becaue he never travels outside the US. This will certainly stir up a state wide panick once it makes headline news. She told us they are talking about extracting dead bodies from the ground, etc. This is scary stuff, especially since it hit so close to home.
At this point and time I cannot stomach the thought of eating red meat. It's egg whites, fish and chicken for my family. I'll keep everyone you posted on any new developments. I wonder how long the government plans to keep this hush hush before going public!?!?

Hence why i dont eat pies or hotdogs, who knows what meat they use. Secondly why i only buy local beef. Why would i want cattle from another country? When ours is one of the best in the world?

From the article
"Thousands of cattle have died of mad cow disease and millions have been slaughtered - mostly in the UK and North America."

I think Kobe beef is rated the best in the world.
Argentena is rated very well.
but other then that the best beef rated by customes is almost always the country they live in.
aka, people from america think american beef is the best, people from aussies think their shit doesn't stink ect.
