I would never put myself in a situation where feelings for such a person would even have the opportunity to build up.....I think rationally first and foremost and I would know from the getgo that there's not a frilling snow balls chance in hell it would ever even remotely work....so i would write it off and move on.

Also i don't 'change' people...i hate the idea....they are who they are, who am I to try to impose on them things i think they should be?

I used to see a girl 10 years younger (29 and 19). All the same. She used to call me up after a big drinking session. I'd be at home recovering from a huge workout. I'd get in the car, pick her up and **** her senseless for hours.

I totally kept my distance emotionally and fully expected nothing short of some good sex. She's still at it now nearly 3 years later (and she's got a kid... Not mine...) so she aint changing.

My current girl is just like me, eat well, train hard, work hard and party once every couple of months or less. So much better on the old emotions...

Worked for me. Don't need to be a messiah or anything. 23-25 is a time when most people start to either give up the life they lived in college to start thinking about a family and career and such or realize they just want to party for as long as possible. If she likes the idea of kids then more than likely she will fall in the start to grow up group. If she doesn't then you can look forward to a party girl for a lot longer.

My girl loved to party. She was 20 when we met and I was 24. I was done with the party scene and had trouble dealing with her at times. Just when I was ready to move on she started to mature. She is now my wife of 3 years we have 2 kids together and she is a very well put together women.
