I did 50's when I was on a strong cycle and I won't even lie I was swinging those bitches like there was no tomorrow on the last few reps.

Try them seated, 40lbs are even tough for me there...

I favor Incline Side Laterals now, those are killer and great for isolation without any cheating. Love em....

I don't like sitting down for laterals. I always felt that bringing the dumbells down to my side felt weird..... it feels more natural to allow them to come down infront of my quads. I don't cheat tho..... no swinging..... and I use a very controlled movement. I've been stuck on the 45's now for MONTHS......
