What makes AR so popular??
I often flick through the net looking at other bbing/aas sites, theres many of them. Most of them have between 2 and 30 regular members posting and those that are posting usually just chat about anything but bbing or aas...
The majority of them fail after a year or 18 months, so what makes this site different. Why are we so popular with such a loyal hard core family???????
It would be interesting to here why you guy's love this place so much????

education combined with comical relief
plus the avys are much more colorful and larger instead of a stamp and the layout is easier to scroll visually with a cleaner look not cluttered with a bunch of stuff which is the first impression
plus some of the sites force registration after a few views which does not welcome anyone to keep lurking and since this site allows the lurker to keep reading, then once registered, the newbie is primed for joining in as they already know the cast of characters....
And then once someone knows the cast of characters they start to feel like they have a cyberspace family which brings them back time and time again......

^^^Thats because they are British.. haha JK
i think this forum is popular because when you google "Steroid forum" this is the first one to pop up. That and most the other ones are just advertising gimmicks/traps.. no names mentioned but some sites are "bought" by guys there where they are all pushing one site whether it be for juice or TRT.. and as slimmer said the layout on this is good.
I actually joined this site 9 years ago and said i was older than i was and got my info from here.. don't remember my screen name back then though, probably something similar.. but i definitley remember it being Anabolic Review or something like that back then.Last edited by MACHINE5150; 02-10-2011 at 11:17 AM.

I agree with Slimmerme...comic relief and education!
And...not many of us types out in the world; so finding others with same/similar values tends to create a distinctive community where others relate.
Especially for us woman....

Agree with all of the above, especially the layout.. Its so easy on the eye and this makes you want to come back as its so easy to understand....
Education is also a biggy imo as mentioned, i mean who wants to join as site where the most senior staff members haven't got the first clue what their doing or where they just copy and paste articles regarding bbing and aas because they have no personal experience..
So a solid senior staff base is so so important, i mean i was looking at some of these sites the other day and noticed they had inexperienced kids running them or guy's that just love to stroke each others ego's and have very little or no bbing/aas experience....
Machine your right this site does appear at the top of a google search but we manage to keep those same people coming back which means they enjoy being here and i also agree, most others have an agenda whether it be personal or not....
Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to bash other sites, after all we all have to start some where but most are a joke...
I no what your talking about carp, that British site is dangerous and this is the problem with these little sites too, their advice is sometimes unbelievable....

lots of information for lurkers i lurked for 2 months before joining. what makes me keep posting is my lounge friends
i feel like i dont really know anything about aas even tho im confident i could pull off a simple- medium cycle so i refuse to try and be helpful which makes me posting in the aas section or even diet useless

I have been a member since 2003 and lurked for a while before that. Even after I joined I didn't post much...I just did searches on things I was interested in. I think the depth of knowledge is the main reason people will continue coming back. Being a part of the community wasn't something I was interested in until I actually started on TRT...and now it is more than just an encyclopedia, it is a place I visit several times a day. Love this place.

Its the fact that we have a good balance here
There are lads up for a laff in the lounge, kp, sby, rex, all thise jerks
There are guys with lots of experience, marcus etc..
And then u have clever guys that love to educate themselves like swifto, mr rose, bonaparte etc...
And then you have a great bunch of guys in the diet section that spend a lot of time working with people, GB, twist, dameion etc...
And of corse fireguy is just the competition master...
I never go without an answer on this board..
I only really ever need to ask 3 people,
Marcus - for experience
Swifto - for anything about anything really
Fireguy - for anything about bodybuilding, competition etc...

On a serious note I first came here wanting to run a Dbol only cycle for 10 weeks because some guy told me too, needless to say I realized that wasn't a great idea and decided the advice here was better then his. Then I discovered the lounge where I have seem some of the most ridiculous and funny things ever so if I'm bored I can just hang out here and if I have questions there's a place for that. Also, everyone here has a sense of humor and can let the sarcasm roll of their backs and if they can't, well they just get banned for flipping out

I think that the Anabolic Review Remote Trainer Challenge really make this site different
It shows a real comunity here, people are actually comunicating on a personal level with each other
I see other boards where one size fits all...
Noobs advising noobs with no one to actually step in and say shut the fuk up!

With the vast amount of info on this site we pop up on any google search even remotely related to bodybuilding. Hell I've googled things that were no where near bodybuilding or aas and seen links to this site on the first page.

Thank-you. I'm glad I can help people.
If I can save someone from erectile dysfunction, acne, gyno, or any side effects short or long term, I'm happy.
In regards to the OP...
I'm a member of a lot of other boards, but this has always been my home. Best board bar none and I have watched it evolve into what it is now over the years.
