Lots of interesting metal versions of pop songs are out.. Taylor Swift Blank Space by I Prevail, AWOLNATION Sail by Devil Driver (great band) are a couple good ones.

Really thought I posted this earlier today - maybe it's senile dementia. Love the Devil Driver cover - the only Taylor Swift version I can handle had a goat in it - makes me laugh till I cry every time! Can't wait, Slipknot in less than two weeks.

this is Blood Duster. they are australian and twisted:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMAL...qMBeWm4zD-Y6Yc

Smut peddlers are famous for their song that was featured in the first JACKASS movie. I think they did some other good stuff too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXeDRbJP_QE

and another by Smut peddlers. i really like this one. it's called DEAD END: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BlETTyRsO0

here is another one of my favorites. Its called my 14 year old addiction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoigbGPJjpY

I happen to like this little clip. it's by agoraphobic nosebleed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35DB...dFKO1E&index=2

and of course, who doesn't love the dead kennedys. everyone know holiday in cambodia, right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KTsXHXMkJA

Acid Bath's first album, when the kite strings pope, was amazing! it's cover featured a painting from the famous John Wayne Gacy. this song is called cassie eats cockroaches. (click the orange button after going to the link): http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/ac...ches/81074973/

here is something more mellow. i really like it. it's by uncle acid and the deadbeats and it's called deaths door: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjO5PuXJO48

hope somebody likes this. i spent 10 min editing the stupid links so they will work...

that's cool, but i think SK really lost it after their first 2 albums, or so. the lyrics almost make sense. i really like the twisted bitterness, but ive heard my favorites so many times it makes me sick to listen to them again. i should listen to some now...

Little confused by Machine Head's new one, Anybody Out There. Not sure I like it but I'll listen a few more times and see. I think he takes a jab at Phil Ansemlo in there though if you listen closely.

I'll give it a listen. Right after the show where Phil flashed the nazi salute and repeated white power, I heard a taped "speech" by the Motörhead dude either on Liquid Metal or Octane dissing Phil's actions pretty firmly. Sorry if you knew that already.

It was actually Rob Flynn from Machine Head who did the vid. Yeah it was pretty intense. So I'm pretty sure he takes another shot at Phil in the new song. He says something to the effect of: I'm ashamed of the racists I used to call brothers

Yeah, Los Angeles. Not a minor surgery, would not be surprised if the dates get pushed back even further. He shouldn't be rushing back after this surgery.

Heard it for the first time yesterday on Octane, and I did catch some lyrics regarding race & I wasn't really that psyched about the song itself. I do love coincidences though - next song was from Pantera.

Dig the Bloodhorse, sludgey & dark. Love sludge - The Melvins. BTW, Bloodhorse formed in the early 2000's, that's not old, that was yesterday for me LOL.

Think I've heard Subject Zero by them. Maybe on Liquid Metal?
