Megadeath just announced a May tour date they added to the venue up the street from me. Will definitely be getting a ticket to that. Never seen them.

Stone sour are very good. Judas priest I have listened to on different occassions.

I bought the new Anthrax album very good you need to listen to it 2 times before it gets better imo.

Also bought a Guy Garvey album it is very very cool not metal but some great music. Also bought steve earle too.

Almost any new album I get takes 2-3 listens to grow on me. Which priest do you like?

Yeh agreed I have listened to it a lot over the last few days def a grower but you need to move away from it fast too as it is very reptitive imo.

Just their hits is all I have heard of them lol. Never bought an album but I must same for Iron Maiden too

Please forgive the story. It's right around the 35th anniversary for me and my love of "heavy" metal.

Was looking forward to seeing these guys live. It was a small club, I was right up front. I thought I had the lyrics to every song memorized and yet I didn't even know what song they were playing that night: The singer; a little dude (little at least at that time), just roared - never heard anything in metal like it.

The bassist was pretty muscular & had no shirt, the guitarist was still really young (just out of high school and had yet to develop into the beast that he ultimately became) - both were literally snarling at the crowd, seriously - teeth bared as they barked out vocals.

And all of them, just f'n pissed off, just glaring at us. I'm thinking to myself, what are they so pissed off at us for. They ripped through the fastest & angriest set I've ever seen, ever; couldn't have taken more than 20 - 30 minutes. That was the 81 Misfits.

Here. Got videos. My phone died pretty quick.

They played 7 nation army (white stripes) and Du Hast (Ranmstein) too. Amazing.

No, by all means don't. That was 1981, that WAS who the misfits really were and where their cult status came from. Any later version was pretty pathetic - although Doyle (the guitarist) did/does have a sick physique.
