Honestly I pay for Spotify well worth the 7 euro for the month.

Lots of old motorhead and 80s rock.

    What a bummer.

I went to see Dark Tranquillity a few weeks ago and holy crap, Mikael looked old. The vocals were shite because of the sound system so basically the entire gig sucked because you couldn't hear him sing. But when he talked into the mic it was better. His vocals are still strong I think but DT without the vocals is so so.

That's rough to hear. I actually didn't find DT until 2003 when I first saw them live at a Valentines Day show with Nile and The Berzerker.

Fourteen years later, I still have a slightly modified version of their logo from The Mind's I era tattooed on my right calf.

Decided to revisit some Iowa era Slipknot for deadlifts this morning. I never really gave those guys a chance when I was in high school, but really, it's not bad.

Wisconsin Death Trip was one of the most hardcore albums of all time. I’m not 100% into that sound anymore. i have a lot less anger in my heart than when i was younger. But I do enjoy a good guitar rift still.

That was Static-X, not Slipknot. However, I was (and still am) all about some Static-X, especially the Machine album. Shame that Wayne had to go and off himself with drugs.

Have been digging “Turbo” station on Sirius radio. Has metal rom the 90’s and 2000’s.

Couldn’t believe I never liked Tool more, my God they are good.

Still like my older bands, here Slipknot is at it again, very happy.

Went to a unique sushi restaurant last night. A little high end and Edgy in an L.A. way. Sushi chefs were heavily inked & turned out to be metal heads. Nothing like sushi & talking Slipknot, Tool, The Misfits & Danzig. Saki was flowing too.

    Right back at you, Prox!
You're right, they've been giving that some some airplay on LM. Video reminds me of some of Sepultura's stuff.

Metallica Murder One. And Spit out the Bone. These two surprised me and have been enjoyable.

I qualified as a die hard fan until Load/reload..S&M.. Then St.Anger just caused me the equivalent of embarrassment. So it was nice to be caught off guard when I realized what I was hearing.

Really dug them in the beginning, but like yourself, didn’t at all. The last CD really kicked ass!

For me: It's tough these days to find anything to get excited about. 98% of new music has huge shortcomings. It seems that lyrically a song will be a mess and have solid licks, or a song will have well thought out lyrics and then the music is all over the place. Like 53 different directions and can't keep the horns in the air.

Don't get me wrong, I love a complex song. But let's keep the walls shaking and finish the fucker strong.

Did I just rant? I never do that!

I’m with you on that. I mentioned “Turbo” on Sirius radio, all 90’s and early 2000’s. The new stuff is too inconsistent for me in general.
