LMAO ..the first time I took the wife to a metal bar in Atlanta many years ago it was Slayer and Motorhead ( if I recall correctly). Anyway, after starting in the bar side for a while ( which was separated from the stage side by floor to ceiling. chainlink fence), she wanted to go a little closer to the pit. She had never been to anything like that, so I told her to hold onto my belt and stay up against the wall. We found a decent spot to watch and people were throwing high elbows and causing general mayhem and disorder. A few minutes later one idiot climbed up on to a small balcony and decided he wanted going to dive into the crowd and do a little "surfing". Absolutely epic failure, the crowd parted and he hit the concrete. F-ed him up pretty good.
